COACHES AND PARENTS.....

PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH ALL COORDINATORS REGARDING RESCHEDULING GAMES. WITH THE CRAZY WEATHER WE HAVE HAD, IT HAS MADE IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT THIS SEASON. THIS IS NOT ANYONE'S FAULT AND THE COORDINATORS ARE TRYING VERY HARD TO GET ALL GAMES IN. THIS MAY REQUIRE 3-5 GAMES IN A WEEK'S PERIOD OR IT ALSO MAY REQUIRE WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY'S OR LATE GAMES. THIS IS NOT AN IDEAL SITUATION BUT IT'S WHAT WE HAVE TO WORK WITH TO GET GAMES IN. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, PLEASE CONTACT ME OR YOUR COORDINATOR. AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AS WE JUST PRAY WE CAN PLAY BALL!

Due to the HORRIBLE weather lately, there are SEVERAL games that were cancelled. Please, as always, make sure that you check your schedule for any changes. It is also likely that some games will be scheduled for Wednesday's due to field availability in all of the towns. If you had a game cancelled and HAS NOT been rescheduled within a week, please get with your coordinator so they can get it scheduled. Thanks for everyone's patience. All coordinators are doing their best to get games in and rescheduled.

Just to clarify, there are no pitching limits in the 15U division this year.

***BASEBALL ONLY**

Under USSSA rule 8.03, there is no limit to the number of bases stolen in a single play, with the exception of a runner occupying third base at the START of the play. A runner may advance at his own risk as long as the defensive team is still attempting to make a play on him. This means that, for example, a runner on first attempts to steal second and the catcher overthrows second, that runner may continue to advance all the way home if he is not stopped by the defensive team. The runner does not have to stop at third automatically. 

Once he stops on third, a runner must be either batted or walked home.

This rule can be found on page 13 of the 2013 USSSA Rulebook.(8.03-Drafted League Specific Rules)

IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ON YOUR SCHEDULE YOU WILL NEED TO GET WITH YOUR COORDINATOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
AS WE ALL KNOW, EVERYONE HAS SEVERAL THINGS GOING ON AND TRYING TO SCHEDULE AROUND THINGS CAN SOMETIMES BE DIFFICULT. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT ABSOLUTELY NEEDS RESCHEDULED, PLEASE DO IT TWO OR MORE WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME WITH YOUR COORDINATOR! IF A SCHEDULED GAME IS CANCELLED ON THE NIGHT PRIOR TO OR DAY OF, THEN THE GAME WILL BE CONSIDERED A FORFEIT UNLESS BOTH COORDINATORS AND COACHES AGREE TO CANCELLATION.THIS IS OUT OF RESPECT FOR BOTH TEAMS AND FAMILIES INVOLVED.
PARENTS.... PLEASE REVIEW YOUR CHILDS ENTIRE SCHEDULE. NOTIFY YOUR COACH OF ANY GAMES YOUR CHILD CAN NOT PLAY IN SO THE COACH CAN DETERMINE IF THE TEAM HAS ENOUGH PLAYERS TO PLAY OR NEEDS TO RESCHEDULE.

   SEASON ENDS BY JUNE 28TH WHICH INCLUDES END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT!
