APYFL is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving over 500 Boys and Girls living in the Prince William County Community by offering tackle football, flag football, and cheerleading. We provide children with a safe environment to play sports, emphasizing skill development, sportsmanship, discipline and fun. All of APYFL's coaches and administrators are volunteers.
We are a member of the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL) which serves the Northern Virginia region, with 23 member clubs located in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties and Alexandria city. The purpose of the FCYFL is to provide participating youth with a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity, and to foster in them the qualities of sportsmanship, team play, and integrity.For the 2013 season, the FCYFL had over 300 teams, 1,200 coaches, and 7,000 players playing a game that everyone loves!
Football is considered one of the most demanding and rewarding of all little league sports. Therefore, it requires a huge commitment to the program from both player and parent.
APYFL's Mini Camp - Saturday, May 16, 2015 "Under the
APYFL will be holding a one day, non contact youth football camp and a cheer camp on Saturday, May 16, 2014 at Saunders Middle School. This will be our 7th year holding this camp and each year it has been a huge success for the boys and girls who participate. These two hour clinics combine first-rate football & Cheer instruction with life skills messages that focus on self-improvement.
APYFL Mini Camps are FREE to kids ages 6-15. Each camp is limited to 210 participants. Camps are filled on a first come first serve basis. A parent and or guardian will be required to fill out the online registration form. Following the submission of the online registration form, you will receive confirmation of your registration.
Here are some of the basic fundamental areas that will be covered (but not limited to):
American Pride Youth Football League is looking for head and assistant coaches for little league football. Players range from 5 to 16 years of age. (Experience welcomed but not required to coach). All coaches must complete a mandatory Background check and coaches certification online course.
Steps to becoming a Coach:

2. Contact the coaching director by email or phone to introduce yourself.
3. Attend all mandatory coaches meetings, training events, and/or flag or tackle football camp.
4. Complete coaches education(USA football) and background check as applicable.
