APYFL is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving over 500 Boys and Girls living in the Prince William County Community by offering tackle football, flag football, and cheerleading. We provide children with a safe environment to play sports, emphasizing skill development, sportsmanship, discipline and fun. All of APYFL's coaches and administrators are volunteers.
We are a member of the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL) which serves the Northern Virginia region, with 23 member clubs located in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties and Alexandria city. The purpose of the FCYFL is to provide participating youth with a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity, and to foster in them the qualities of sportsmanship, team play, and integrity. For the 2013 season, the FCYFL had over 300 teams, 1,200 coaches, and 7,000 players playing a game that everyone loves!
Football is considered one of the most demanding and rewarding of all little league sports. Therefore, it requires a huge commitment to the program from both player and parent.

Sara Lott 5K at Saunders Middle School - Saturday, May 17
American Pride Families,
We have a long-standing partnership with Saunders Middle School, and with the installation of turf and lights for the Fall 2014 Season that partnership will most certainly grow stronger.
The Saunders Administration has invited American Pride to participate in a key annual event for the school, the Sara Lott 5K. Sara Lott was a Saunders student athlete who passed away tragically in 2008. Saunders hosts a 5K run / 1 Mile walk in memory of Sara each year and all proceeds benefit the Sara Lott Spark Memorial Scholarship.
American Pride has enthusiastically accepted the invitation to participate and will be donating water and snacks for the participants.
I would like to ask all of you to consider participating in the event. Wear your APYFL jersey or T-shirt and get some exercise. This is a great opportunity for families to participate together.
Here are the details:
