Calling All Volunteers!

Are you willing to serve on the KLA Board or a Committee? If so, we need you!

Board meetings- once a month at 6:30 p.m. We alternate between in-person and teleconference. In addition to monthly meetings, we have a one-day planning retreat in the summer. Attendance is strongly encouraged.

Board obligations- each Board member is assigned a specific role, such as Finance, Education & Training, Program Development, League Commissioner or Tournaments. Board members elect officers for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Financial obligations- none, other than to be a current member of US Lacrosse

Term- Board members are elected for a 3-year term running from October- September. Elections will be held at the Annual Meeting on October 13.

Committees- We also need volunteers to serve on the following committees: Finance (budget, grants, fundraising), Program Development, Communications/Marketing (website & social media), Education & Training and Operations (leagues, officials, regional associations, tournaments).

If you, or someone you know, are interested in serving or have any questions, please feel free to contact us at kylaxassoc@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration in helping the growth of lacrosse in Kentucky!

-Ann Fleming, Past-President and Nominating Chair
