Welcome to Newport Lacrosse

Please go to the link below to get all Fall Ball Box Lacrosse Games and to complete both MANDATORY registrations.  They will not allow players to play with out proper insurance coverage.

Your child's protection and development are our top priorities.  Our leagues require stringent background checks of our coaches and insurance requirements for both them and our players.  These are all positives, however the only negative is that registering your son to play this fall will be a longer and more involved process than before.

First you will need to register on this site through the link on the left which will also take you to a US Lacrosse registration page to become a member, if not already.  Then return to this page and click the link highlighted in the copy below which will take you to an additional registration page for both out fall league and another insurance membership page for the US Box Lacrosse Association.  The insurance coverage from both associations are relatively cheap for the value they provide.  To help you we have tried to keep our registration fee as low as possible and still provide our families with high value.

The Orange County Box Lacrosse League (OCBLL) is the only league of it's kind in the Southland. This is a competitive, fast paced and fun league designed for your program to compete and develop their skills for the upcoming spring high school and winter youth seasons. This league will play with true box lacrosse rules including a 30 second shot clock for nonstop action!  The kids LOVE this game!

The OCBLL is the only league officially sanctioned by the United States Box Lacrosse Association (USBOXLA) which provides a common structure and governance for nationwide youth box lacrosse league, tournaments and travel teams. This will also increase player safety as officiating and rule enforcement will be the same across the board.

The OCBLL will have several divisions for all levels of play. From High School Elite, to U11, this is the premier box lacrosse league in Orange County.True box lacrosse is coming to Orange County, Don't miss out and join today!

- For Scheduling, we are going to try and give teams/programs doubleheader weekends, where they play 2 games one weekend and no games the following weekend. Of course there may be some exceptions to this but we will do our best to limit teams playing every weekend during the league
- A USBOXLA rule book will be sent to all teams before the games begin and can answer any questions you might have.
GAME Locations
The Rinks- Irvine
Victory Athletic Center- San Juan Capistrano
Goalie gear will be provided but we encourage programs to bring their own if possible.  All other position players are to bring their own equipment and shoes for both grass and court surfaces for each practice anad game.
**All players MUST be members of USBOXLA. This is mandatory for all players and insures them for this league as well as any other USBOXLA sanctioned tournament or league. This is a great value to our league as it will also be training referees and give us a governing national body to help make sure players, coaches and refs are properly trained and playing the game the correct way.

The mission of Navigators Lacrosse is to help teach positive life skills and build character lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and “best efforts” competitiveness to school aged children throughout Orange County via the sport of lacrosse. We seek to promote and advance youth lacrosse in a fun and safe manner while developing each player’s skills, technique and understanding of the game. Our culture is to have ALL associated with our program honor the great game of lacrosse by demonstrating RESPECT for the rules, officials, opponents, fans, teammates, and themselves. Most importantly the kids will have fun developing friendships while improving their physical conditioning, lacrosse skills, and understanding of the sport.
