Morton Youth Baseball Association is once again organizing the Pumpkin Festival’s Pumpkin To Go Drive Thru located at the former K-Mart parking lot and we need your help!
This event has generated nearly $27,000 for MYBA over the past six years and continues to be a critical piece in funding our capital improvements. Prior year's revenue has gone to such projects as dugout renovation, additional irrigation systems, Brenkman Memorial Baseball Facility upgrades, and additional concrete walkways. This year’s plan is to continue our mission of making improvements and upgrades to Westwood Park for the enjoyment and betterment of Morton’s youth baseball program. Included on the list of capital improvement needs include: renovations to Field 1 and additional upgrades to the Hitting Facility.
In order to make this another successful year at the Pumpkin “To Go” drive thru, we need your help once more! Please consider giving us a little bit of your time and talents for a great cause that annually improves your child’s baseball playing experience as well as your baseball viewing experience. We are in need of 15 - 20 people per shift to do things such as grill, take orders, and run food to cars. We would like to especially encourage having your MYBA players volunteer. The more baseball players we have the better! This is a great way to imbed ownership and volunteerism in our players.
