Seeking Bronco Travel Lite Coach / Pinto League Rep
We have seen a great response to our request for volunteers this year. It's great to see so many people who are interested in helping out!
We still have two volunteer opportunities, so please consider stepping up to help out MYBA.
Bronco Travel Lite Coach: The Bronco TL coach leads a team of 5th and 6th grade players who are interested in playing additional games against local area teams.
Pinto League Rep: The Pinto League Rep will be responsible for managing the Pinto (Tee ball) league for MYBA. This includes lining up coaches, assigning players to teams, helping with communication, handing out trophies, etc. The Pinto league is for pre-Kindergarten and some Kindergarten players.
If you are interested or have questions about the roles, please email Dustin Neeley at
Anyone interested in coaching one of the MYBA Travel Lite teams should contact Dustin Neeley (
) as soon as possible. The board will be selecting the Travel Lite coaches at our October board meeting (Monday October 10th - 6pm). As a reminder there are Travel Lite teams at the Maverick, Mustang, Bronco, and Pony levels. It's a great way to play some competitive baseball against teams from local communities.
Thanks to all who were at the tryouts for over the weekend. Below is the list of players who have made the 2017 U12 travel team.
It was a very difficult decision. As I told all the boys, please don’t get discouraged if you have not made the team this year. Keep playing and having fun. Baseball is a great game, and there will be more opportunities in the future!
MYBA is happy to announce the schedule for the 2017 Travel Team tryouts! The schedule and location for all age groups is listed below. We have tried our best to schedule around JFL games and other Fall events in order to minimize conflicts. U14 will be scheduled once the Junior High baseball season is over (hopefully after State!). Remember that it is only required for players to attend one of the tryouts; however, it is encouraged to attend both if possible as the highest score will be kept and used in the selection process. These will be the ONLY tryout dates (unless we have bad weather) and no exceptions will be made for players who are unable to attend one or both of the dates / times listed below.

Upon arriving at the facility, please make sure that your player checks in at the sign-in table and receives a number which will be used for tracking purposes during evaluations. We will not use names. Also, make sure that your player does not wear any clothing that would identify him as a former travel player (hat, t-shirt, etc).
Should you have questions about the tryouts you can contact the Travel Team coaches directly. They are listed under the Team Contacts menu on the MYBA Homepage.
