The Morton Youth Baseball Association is once again organizing the Mike Murphy Ford Pumpkin To Go (at K-Mart) in conjunction with annual Pumpkin Festival.
Prior year's revenue has gone to such projects as the stadium, press boxes, and dugouts. This year’s proceeds will once again go directly towards capital improvements at Westwood Park, namely additional irrigation systems on fields that currently do not have them.
In order to make this another successful year at the Pumpkin To Go (drive thru), we need your help once more…please consider giving us a little bit of your time and talents for a great cause that will directly benefit our baseball teams.
We are in need of 15-20 people per shift to do things such as grill, take orders, and run food to cars…We would like to especially encourage having your sons volunteer. The more baseball players we have the better!
Thursday, Sept. 11
Friday, Sept. 12
Saturday, Sept. 13
To schedule a time for yourself, family, or even team, please contact Jenna Grimm at (309) 642-1105 and
or Chris Carter at (309) 208-5037 and
Thanks for your help!
(Be sure to drive thru and pick up a meal or two…)
The Annual MYBA Meeting will be held at Kuhl and Company at 6pm on Monday September 8.
At this meeting the board will be voting on new Directors, Associates, and Travel Coaches (U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14) for the coming season. Anyone who is interested in becoming a Director, Associate, or Travel Coach needs to contact an executive director (see list below) by the end of August in order to be considered.
If you have questions on what the requirements of the positions are, please reach out to an executive director and they will be able to answer them.
Participating as a Director or an Associate is a great way to help us grow and shape the MYBA program and to get involved in the Morton community.
