Remember, Sizzle from the KC T-Bones will be on hand Saturday from 10am to 2pm to say Hi to the kids. The KC T-Bones will also have a booth located near the north concession stand where tickets can be purchased at a discount. The NKCA Baseball League is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation serving the youth of our community since 1945.
The NKCA Baseball League is now in its 69th year, established in 1945, serving the northland. Today, the league is nearly 200 teams strong with young athletes from all over the Greater Kansas City Area.
Our programs cover all levels of play, for age groups 6U to 19U, Spring and Fall. Players at 6U have the opportunity to play in TBall, Coach Pitch, or Machine Pitch. At 7U and 8U they move to Machine Pitch. At 9U, we begin kid pitch and continue to develop their talents through high school age.
We provide a great venue for players, playing on age specific fields. For teams, they can count on our league for the best field conditions north of the river, many of the administration functions such as registration and a robust web notification system. Our umpires go through a comprehensive umpire training program that includes classroom and field experience.
Our focus continues to be on the development of local athletes, increasing skills that include sportsmanship and team work.
We look forward to serving the northland youth and their families
We are excited to see what teams and talent will have in store for our 2014 Spring program. If the momentum is anything like last year, we will again cross over the 3,000 game mark, serving over 3,500 players and 315 teams. The League has accomplished a great deal in the last couple of seasons in terms of program enhancements and park improvements and we want to share them with you.
