WYSA's popular GK clinics will be returning Thursday 23rd May. The clinics are open to all aplyers playing 2nd grade soccer and above, with content specifically designed for the U10-U12 Age Group. 

Time: 4pm-5pm
Day: Thursday
Ages: 7+

Tuesday May 7th - Footwork, Positioning and Angle Play
Thursday May 23rd - Breakaway saves and 1v1's
Thursday May 30th - Distribution and Talking to Defenders

Tryouts for placement of all U9 – U14 players onto a Fall 2013 / Spring 2014 Travel team will begin on Sunday, May 19^th, when all players in all age groups will be initially evaluated that day.  In addition, tryouts will continue the week of May 20^th and May 27^th.  All Placement Evaluations will be held at the Shawsheen Elementary School. 
 
Players must attend at least one tryout for their age bracket to be considered for selection to a team, and attendance at both sessions is highly encouraged.  Those who cannot attend any sessions due to injury or scheduling conflicts will only be considered for placement if they have registered, and have provided a written explanation regarding their absence, prior to the start of tryouts.
 
Registration is required in advance of Placement Evaluations in order for a child to participate in the tryout, evaluation, and placement process.  To register – click on the WYSA Registration tab on the left-hand side of this page.
