Registration for the inaugural (at all levels) season of Mounds View/Irondale hockey is closing soon!
For those players intending to try out for an A- or B-level traveling team at the Squirt/U10, Peewee/U12, or Bantam/U14 level, tomorrow (9/20) is the last day to register. Tryout groups will be formed based on those registered as of the close of registration.
For players not intending to try out for an A- or B-level team, those players will be placed on the lowest team at the particular level (in many cases a C-level team). Please register by no later than October 3 if your player is in this category. It is important to register by no later than October 3 so that teams can be formed with proper numbers of players on each team.
Mite and Learn to Skate level players may register to play hockey until December 31.

Feel free to call or email with any questions you may have about the co-op, tryouts, etc.
Youth Hockey registration is now OPEN for the 2014-2015 season!
As you are aware, the upcoming season will feature the unleashing upon District 2 and Minnesota Hockey of the full co-op force of the Irondale and Mounds View youth hockey associations. This co-op builds on the past co-op successes of the girls program, and brings to mind the good old days of Lake Region Youth Hockey. While new co-op relationships always bring some degree of uncertainty and "learning experiences," both associations are dedicated to ensuring that the players benefit from increased numbers and a deeper pool of talented coaches.
In order to streamline the registration process, we are having all players register at the MVYHA website, using the following link:
After teams are formed, the Team Manager will collect the Consent to Treat forms for each player on the team.
The Warm-Up/Tryout fee is an additional $75 and does not apply to the Mites and U8 players. The fee will allow players to participate in warm-ups and tryouts. Please register by September 19th in order to be assigned to a Tryout group. Warm-up and Tryout sessions are scheduled so as to avoid fall sports conflicts as much as possible. Players who pay the fee may participate in Warm-Ups even if they do not intend to try out for an upper-level traveling team. Players who do not try out will be assigned to their level’s lowest team.
If your child is new to either association, please upload or mail their birth certificate before the season begins.
