Softball Umpire Clinics

Youth Softball Umpire Training Clinics

The Softball 8U and 10U divisions will use youth umpires to call the games
for the Spring & Fall 2015 Softball season.  There will be games in both
Northboro and Southboro.

NBSA is working in partnership with, Peter Travis, Certified ASA Umpire of
Central Mass ASA, and would like you to consider our training program to
help you become a Softball umpire.

What you will learn in these clinics?
1. Rules of Softball
2. Plate Mechanics
3. Field Mechanics
4. Game Management
5. How to Handle Coaches and Fans
6. Proper Dress and Umpire Attire

Who should attend this clinic? New Softball umpires, softball players,
baseball players, ex-ball players and previous youth umpires. This program
is open for both males and females in grades 7-12, from Northboro and

All youths interested in Softball umpiring during the upcoming 2015 season
must attend BOTH training sessions. There is no cost for this clinic and you
get paid for every game you umpire!  Protective equipment will be provided
by the league.

2014 Northboro Baseball Summer Tournaments

The 12YO Tournament was held from Sunday, July 13, 2014 to Sunday, July 20, 2014. 

The 9YO Tournament was held from Monday, July 21 to Wednesday, July 30. 

All Teams that took part, had a great time and we had very competitive games.  Hope to see you all next season.
