The next Northborough Southborough Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at 7:30 pm at Southborough House of Pizza on Rt 30. 5 Main Street Southborough.
A few of the Agenda items:
1. Fall Softball plans
2. Board member plans for 2014-15 Season
3. Discussion regarding changing some of the division groups to follow ASA guidelines not grade based. (Westborough moved to this in 2014, and Hudson is considering it for Fall)
All are welcome to attend. If you know of anyone interested in getting more involved in the organization/board please invite them. We really need volunteers from the Instructional and Minors division and Southborough to get involved.
If you have any questions please contact Kair Tucker or Paul Pazareskis. If you are attending the meeting please RSVP to Kair email@example.com so we can reserve enough space at a table.
On Sunday evening July 20th we completed the 12 YO Northboro Invitational Tournament. We had 11 teams entered including 2 teams from Northboro. We dodged the weather for a couple of days, and didn't have any rain outs. There were many great games in the week long tournament. The finals on Sunday Night came down to Shrewsbury National and West Boylston, both of these team were 4-0 coming in and both won their pool. After a great game Shrewsbury National won the championship.
Thank you to all the teams who came out to play.
The 9 YO Northboro Invitational Tournament started on Moday July 21st. Please try to come out and watch a game, the players really like to see a crowd. If interested in volunteering to help with the tournament or the snack shack, please contact Mike Hodge,
Each team in the NBSA organization is assigned one to two evenings per year to volunteer to man the snack shack. The snack shack earns the NBSA up to $4,000 per year and is an important source of income to help maintain all fields and help defer registration costs. I understand that everyone is very busy but I am only looking for an hour of your time. If you have already volunteered this year I thank you. We are looking for volunteers for the playoffs; if you are interested just follow the link below. You can volunteer on any. We welcome repeat volunteers if anyone is interested.
