Orlando Babe Ruth is pleased to announce an open clinic on February 23 at 8:45 am to noon with Lake Highland Preparatory School Varsity Baseball team and OBR Advanced Instructors and league coaches. Trotters Park, one of three fields utilized by Orlando Babe Ruth will be the site of the event. All local baseball players ages 7-16 are invited to attend.
Orlando Babe Ruth believes in consistent and quality baseball and softball instruction. In addition to our Coaches Manuals, OBR organizes and runs a series of
baseball camps throughout the year to strengthen the player fundamentals of our game.
The clinic will include a baseball strength and conditioning session and baseball fundamentals sessions including, hitting, base running, infield, outfield, catching and pitching. Players will be divided by age group and rotate fields for both skills training and contests.
Our high school programs bring in local schools to connect OBR players to high school athletes playing our sport in a way that excites both the student and teacher. In 2012, several OBR teams adopted local high schools and attended their games cheering on their favorite player and instructor. Please continue to check our Calendar and Events Schedule for additional upcoming Clinics and training opportunities.
