Online orders will not be included in the fundraiser total. Please be sure to inform your supporters that only in-store purchases will count.
Supporters must show the fundraiser flyer (hard copy or image on their phone) or tell the cashier at checkout that they are there for a fundraiser before they pay! If they don’t tell our cashier, your organization won’t get credit for the sale.
Gift cards purchased during fundraisers do not count towards total donated sales, but purchases made with an existing gift card will count.
THANK YOU to everyone who showed up and donated to the equipment drive!! Two trucks full of equipment will be making their way to children in high need areas wanting to play!
We know the weather caused some to stay indoors and we would like to gather as much equipment as possible for Leveling the Playing Field to distribute. We will continue to take donations until Friday, September 28th.
If you would like to make a donation, please contact Tania Armstrong at
to coordinate. We appreciate the generosity of our wonderful community!!
REMINDER: GMBL is partnering with Leveling the Playing Field
Leveling the Playing Field relies on gently used/excess sports donations to engage underprivileged children. While you are putting away that summer gear and getting ready to bring in the new fall items, please consider gathering your GENTLY USED sporting equipment and donating! We are taking equipment from all sports, you do not have to donate only baseball gear!
Every child deserves the opportunity to play a sport they love and GMBL is committed to helping make that happen!
If you have any questions please email Tania Armstrong,
GMBL prides itself in hosting tournaments that bring in competitive teams from all across the DMV. This year our tournament lineup includes a Dog Days Tournament that we have in recent years moved to Labor Day Weekend to accommodate more teams, and Havoc Tournament
With 7 fields of play at our main complex and off site fields of play just minutes away as well, we strive to provide not only competitive baseball, but also easy to use apps to keep track of play, outside vendors and our fully operational snack bar as well.
Out of everything, our tournaments are almost infamous for playing through anything. Our volunteers are the best, and many times have worked under the light before the sun comes up to ensure cancellations due to weather don't happen unless absolutely necessary. We know everyone just wants to play ball, and we do everything we can during inclement weather to be sure that happens, while keeping all players safety in mind.
GMBL has been offered an amazing opportunity to share with you reduced cost CPR/AED training through Florian CPR, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide low-cost CPR certification to Manassas area volunteers. The organization was founded this July when our own GMBL Senior Babe Ruth League Member, Steven Smith, was saved by teammate, Paul Dow, after a freak accident during baseball practice as the team prepared for their Southeast Regional appearance. Their story made Local, State, National and International news. If you have not heard about the miracle, you can find the story link below as published by Babe Ruth Headquarters and local Inside NOVA:
GMBL strongly encourages all league members to be CPR/AED certified as volunteers. Do you want to Learn CPR? Now is your chance! Florian CPR wants to help you. They will certify you in the life saving skills of CPR and the proper use of the AED for just $21.
All instructors and staff are volunteers. The $21 pays for equipment, instructional supplies and your certification with the National Safety Council. CPR and AED training saves lives.
