Sno-King 18U Wins State and PNAHA League Championships

 

The 18U team wrapped up an amazing 2017-18 season over St. Patrick’s Day weekend sweeping the state 18U championships held in Spokane.  

It started with a 6-0 win against Wenatchee on Friday. The team faced strong opponents on Saturday and came through battles for the puck victorious with wins over Tri-Cities (4-1) and Tacoma (5-3). On Sunday morning the team faced Tri-Cities in the championship game and kept the families in the stands on pins and needles till the final minutes winning the game 4-0.

Following the presentation of the state championship trophy, medals and banner, Sno-King’s 18U captains were also presented with the PNAHA 18U league champions banner for their record in league play of 12-0-0 in which the team had 57 goals for and only 11 goals against.

Sno-King 18U is now preparing to attend the National 18U tournament in Lansing, Michigan April 6-10.
