Sno-King Ice Sports is excited to offer another season of spring hockey!
The Selects program gives 8U,10U and 12U players an opportunity to extend the hockey season into April and May. Select team players have a unique opportunity to get professional coaching while having fun and building their skill development.
The Seattle Selects will have two balanced teams at 8U (2009 and younger)two balanced teams at 10U (2007-2008) and one Major team (2005-2006)team at 12U.
Coaches: Doug Kirton (Colorado College and 10 years European Pro League) Jamie Huscroft (4 years WHL/Seattle Thunderbirds Alumni, 14 years AHL/ NHL), skills coach David Min (official SKAHA Skills coach) and guest instructors.
8U& 10U Practices: Thursdays at the Renton Arena. April 12 through May 17

10U from 7:20-8:30pm
Tournament …Challenge Cup is May 18-20
8U & 10U team fees are $498. Fees include six practices, tournament fees, coaching fees, game socks, jerseys and team logo wear.Fees are based on a 16-player roster
12U Practices: Tuesdays and Saturdays at the Kirkland Arena. April 7 through May 15th

Tryouts for 12U will be held at the Renton Ice Arena on Friday, Feb 23rd. Our professional coaching staff will be selecting the top 16-17 players for each team! Selections will be based on players overall skills and attributes and how those fit within the anticipated style ofplay and the needs of the team.Depending on the number of players at the tryouts, there could be some very talented players that may not make the team. Players not selected to these teams will have the opportunity to sign up with our other Spring and Summer camps and clinics.
