16U Ninjas

 

   Manager: Katie Schuh

Katie Schuh returns to the Ninjas for her fourth season. In 2017-2018 she will continue to manage the 16u team as well as manage the Ninjas 10u Black team. Katie graduated from Kean University in January 2014 after playing 4 seasons of softball as a starting outfielder and second baseman from 2010-2013. Katie previously coached with the NJ Insanity travel program and currently serves as the varsity assistant softball coach at Montgomery High School.  

Katie loves being on the field with her teams: "Softball is my passion and my goal is to make every girl I coach into the best softball player they are capable of becoming."

 

14U Ninjas Black

 

   Manager: Meghan McDonald

Meghan McDonald  was offered an athletic scholarship by the University of Maryland in 2007, but chose to attend Stockton College instead.  Before her playing career began there, she underwent career-ending hip surgery.  Prior to college, Meghan was the starting catcher for Bordentown Regional High School for four years where she earned “player of the week” accolades multiple times, broke the record for most hits in a season, and led her team to back to back NJ Central Group II championships in 2006 and 2007.  Meghan was named “Female Athlete of the Year” during her senior year at Bordentown.

Meghan played travel ball with the West Jersey Witches from 1999 until 2005, then one year with the Jersey Monsters before returning to the Witches for the 2006-07 season.  Meghan was a catcher and shortstop.  At Stockton, Meghan stayed involved in softball, serving as a team manager for the spring season.

Meghan currently is a teaching assistant for a private special needs school, and is taking classes to become a special needs teacher.

14u Ninjas Green

 

   Manager: Alyssa Falsetti

Alyssa Falsetti is a former Steinert High School and Neumann University softball player. While playing softball at the college level, Alyssa learned to balance softball and academics, earning NFCA Academic All American honors multiple years. Alyssa played various positions, including catcher, first base and outfield. Her coaching experience includes an assistant role for the Glen Mills Schools varsity baseball team during the 2015 season. . Alyssa worked as the outfielders’ coach teaching fundamentals to players with limited playing experience as well as players who have never been given the opportunity to play baseball before.

Alyssa has worked as the assistant coach to a former professional baseball player and a professional softball instructor. Alyssa has coaching experience with both girls and boys at the middle school and high school levels as well player experience varying from little to multiple years of familiarity with their respective sports.

Alyssa hopes to continue her coaching experience for years to come teaching the sport of softball to young players wanting to be the best they can be. 

 

12u Ninjas

 

   Manager: Lyndsey Buckley

Lyndsey Buckley was a two sport athlete at Mercer County Community College, playing two years of both softball and soccer.  She currently attends Rider, where she is focusing on academics. 

She was a 4-year starter at Nottingham High School’s softball program, playing outfield, second base and shortstop during her career.  Along with softball she also played field hockey and soccer.  After she graduated in 2012, she attended West Chester University, focusing on academics. She soon quickly found out she missed playing sports, so she decided to transfer to MCCC and resume her athletic career.  She was very pleased with her decision. Lyndsey still plays co-ed softball and club soccer.   

   Coach: Kaylee Wise

Kaylee will assist Lyndsey with the 12U Ninjas.  She is a returning student to Mercer County Community College where  she played on the college team.   In 2017 she was part of the 1st Team All Conference and 1st Team All Region as well as "Pitcher of the Week."  She  has had numerous career highlights including playing as a 13 y/o on the 16U Babe Ruth World Series team.

 

10u Ninjas Black

Pete Bonafide will manage the 2017-18 10u Ninja Green team.  Pete will be assisted by professional trainers.
