Learn to Skate
Bridgeport Skating Club’s Learn to Skate program provides affordable skating instruction for children and adults alike! Skaters will learn in a fun and exciting way the needed basic skills to enjoy all aspects of skating whether it is for figure skating, youth hockey or just for fun.
Our Learn to Skate programs are run under the direction of Bridgeport Skating Club’s professional coaching staff with assistance provided by Volunteer Instructors to reinforce skating skills.
Registration for the 8-week sessions is ongoing for classes running Sunday mornings from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Wonderland of Ice.
LEARN TO SKATE: Skaters progress through the “Basic Eights”, the learn-to-skate program designed by US Figure Skating, the governing body of figure skating.
