(NEW)Pre-Season Coach Registration Process
There are a number of steps you need to take to be allowed to meet with kids or serve in an official capacity for HSC. Some are required by Massachusetts, others are required by state soccer and the league (MYSA/NVYSL), and others are required by our local club. This applies to coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, and various club staff. Some of these steps only apply for those that are part of the U10+/travel program with NVYSL, and those are marked as such below.
Final clearance is by the registrar (Paul Cohen, email@example.com). Please make sure you follow his instructions before the first practice session of the season to avoid being left off team roster or not being able to meet with the kids.
- (All) MYSA Adult registration online, annual registration starting in fall. Sign the 2 agreements (Harvard and NVYSL if coaching U10+), print these out for final step (5).
- (All) CORI check submission/resubmission if online registration returns with this required. Follow email instructions from step (1) above (see above link for more info in "CORI Request" section).
- (All) HSC Coaches Safety Pledge - HSC document describing the coach's basic safety responsibilities. Email signed document scan/photo to registrar address above.
- (U10+ only / NVYSL travel) NVYSL Coaches Pledge - NVYSL document describing the coach's required knowledge of rules and policies. Email signed document scan/photo to registrar address above.
- (All) Photo-ID check with registrar, bring the 2 MYSA registration printouts from step (1).
