The Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams are running a fundraiser from March 28th to April 7th.
We are selling coupon cards for local businesses, restaurants and golf courses. The coupons
will be handed out to each player after practice on the 28th. (31st for Middle School ) Our goal is for each player to sell
10 coupons. The first night that we will be collecting coupons will be April 4th after practice.
We will be sponsoring a Blitz Night on April 7th where the players and parents will
be canvassing Scarborough neighborhoods selling the tickets. All coupons and money have to be turned on April 7th.
This is the only fundraiser that we will be undertaking this year.
•Cards will be $20.00 each
•Our Ticket is different from other Booster Groups in the area or SHS. Each sponsor offers four specific opportunities
•Card has been especially built for LAX Boosters.
•Card features area restaurants and three exclusive Golf offers!
•First 500 tickets sold Boosters will receive $10.00 per ticket
•Tickets sold 501 to 1000 will result in $12.00 per ticket to Boosters
•Tickets sold over 1000 will receive $14.00 per ticket to Boosters
•20 cards sold by Athlete will result in a $40.00 cash bonus to Athlete
•30 cards sold by Athlete will result in a $60.00 cash bonus to Athlete
•40 cards sold by Athlete will result in a $80.00 cash bonus to Athlete
•25 cards sold will also result in a personalized Scarborough LAX Hallway Hoodie personalized with their name and number
•Kickoff is scheduled for Monday 3/28 from 2:30-4:30 (This is where everyone will get their product and is the official start of the fundraiser). Grades 7th through 12th grades.
•Checkpointis scheduled for Monday April 4th. This is when the players will turn one money envelope into the booster representative that will be at practice that day. Very important for the players to turn in one money envelope on this day. The players should be able to sell half of their product by checkpoint day.
•Blitz is scheduled for Thursday April 7th from 5-8 PM. This is when the players as a group will go out in the community and sell the tickets door to door. Very important to get full participation. After the Blitz, the players will report back to the designated area and turn in all money and any remaining un sold product. This is the last day of the fundraiser.
•Program Kick Off March 28 (31st for Middle School )~ we need four to six Booster parents to help this day. Times as of now 5:00 p.m.
•Check Point April 4 ~ we need four to six Booster parents this day (hopefully same as Kick-Off). Time will be determined.
•Blitz Day April 7~ 30 parents needed to carpool teams of selling Athletes through Scarborough. Dave Thurston (Boys) and Jim P (Girls) will be assigning specific neighborhoods, issuing maps etc. for this event. 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
