2018 Tryout Information:

Tryouts for the 12U Select teams will begin on August 23rd with Cross-Ice games and off-ice testing.

Regardless of what team you are trying to make, all players should attend the first day of testing for the off-ice testing portion. These results will be used throughout the A1, A2, and A3 tryouts. All players are encouraged to participate in the cross-ice games on the first day but it is not required if you only plan on trying out for the A2 or A3 teams.

After the first session in each tryout the head coach will notify players as to which session they should attend next, whether that is continuing with current tryout or moving onto the next team.

Parent Meetings will occur at the first session for each team.

12U General Information

In the 12u division Sno-King offers the following levels of hockey programs

Elite A1 Select teams

This is the top level of hockey Sno-King offers at this age group and is targeted at the players and families that are committed to hockey.

These teams are the best in the state. They generally play in the Pacific Coast League (PCAHA) that is based out of Vancouver, BC area.

Visit here for more information.

A2/A3 Select Teams

These are the next level of hockey and consist of players that can't make the commitment to the top teams or who are working to make those teams.

These teams typically play in Pacific Coast League or the top MHL Division and compete in the State Festival as well other competitive tournaments.

Visit here for more information.

Recreational / "C" Teams

Sno-King offers recreational hockey teams where all registered players are evaluated and put on teams with the goal of having approximately equal teams.

These teams play against teams from other associations in the Seattle area in the Metro Hockey League (MHL).

Visit here for more information.

Recreational / C Development teams

If there is enough interest and available ice, Sno-King will create a Recreational / C Dev team.

The Dev teams are a great opportunity for the motivated recreational player interested in getting additional ice time and working on more advanced skills and systems than can be worked on with their C teams.

Visit here for more information.

Spring / Summer Camps, Clinics, Training, Leagues

Sno-King offers many in season and Spring/Summer Camps, Clinics, Training and Leagues. Check the Camps and Clinics page for details.
