What: In house competitive program geared toward introducing the game of soccer. The program is run by Parent Volunteer Coaches and Assistant Coaches. There is typically one to two practices a week depending on age and competition style matches on weekends. Each child will receive a uniform kit including a shirt, shorts, and socks.
When: Meets for practices during the week based on availability of coaches and assistants. You will be contacted by the coach about three weeks prior to the regular season for your practice dates and times. CSA currently offers only a Spring Recreational season.
Where: Teams are formed North, Central and South depending on availability of fields and coaches.
How often: Typically eight to ten weeks beginning in April and ending by the beginning of June and is followed by the "Calvert Cup" tournament.
What you need to bring: A uniform is provided for games but you will need a athletic wear, appropriate sized ball, shin guards and athletic footwear. Cleats are not required. Also bring plenty of water.
