Becoming a Referee

CSA is always looking for qualified people to referee games.  If you are interested in becoming a referee, please go to the Maryland Referees website to find out when classes are being held to be a USSF grade 8 (entry level) referee.  Courses are usually held in the summer and winter to prepare referees for the upcoming seasons.  Refresher courses are taken annually.

Using Arbitersports for game assignment

CSA has switched our referee assignor system to Arbiter sports.  All referees must be setup at www.arbitersports.com before they can be assigned games.  For information on how to get setup, you must email our referee assignor at referee@calvertsoccer.org and include your name, address, date of birth (used for scheduling age groups), cell phone, and email.  Once you receive your invitation to join, you can complete your enrollment.  You will also need to have a valid arbiterpay account to accept payments.  Instructions for setting up and linking that account are
