LYV is a recreation league that relies on volunteers to coach. If you have any interest in coaching a team, LYV can train you regardless of previous volleyball or coaching experience. LYV's clinics are led by NVVA Technical and Executive Director Rodrigo Gomes. The dates for the Coaching Clinics are on the LYV Schedule and are held at the VVC. LYV also offers training videos and printed handbooks with practice plans for prospective coaches.

We are looking for adult and HS student volunteers to help with all aspects of the boys volleyball program. We have volunteer positions at different levels of commitment that can fit into busy schedules. Our primary need is for coaches to run clinics and coach individual teams.

Prospective coaches must register (links provided soon), attend 60 minutes of online training as part of the registration process, and, if 18 or older, submit for a criminal background check. Once these activities have been completed, you can coach for LYV. Coaches receive a $25 credit for future NVVA clinics that can be used for themselves or their player(s). This credit will be applied to your account in early September.
