Winter Training with Liberty Football Academy

Brookfield Soccer Club has teamed with
Liberty Football Academy
to offer a Winter Program for U6-U10 players
starting in January 2016.

There will be separate programs for each age group listed below.

U6 Winter Program:

Our objective for the U6 Winter program is to provide a winter option for soccer players 4-6 years old. Registrants can choose to participate in one or two days of training a week during the 8 week season. "Group 1" will play on Mondays from 5-6pm and "Group 2" will play on Wednesdays from 5-6pm.  Training sessions will be instructed by Liberty Football Academy coaches, and will take place at the Danbury Sports Dome.

U8 Winter Program:

Our objective for the U8 Winter program is to keep the BSC spring and fall U8 teams training and competing together throughout the winter. Each team will play a 10 week season that will include one training session per week and 8 weekly games. Training sessions and games will be held at the Danbury Sports Dome (DSD), and we will compete one age group higher in the DSD U9 Soccer League on Saturday afternoons.

Our objective for the U9 Winter program is to keep the BSC spring and fall U9 teams training and competing together throughout the winter. The teams will play a 10 week season that will include one training session per week and 8 weekly games.  Training sessions and games will be held at the Danbury Sports Dome (DSD), and we will compete in the DSD U9 Soccer League on Saturday afternoons.

Our objective for the U10 Winter program is to keep the BSC spring and fall U10 teams training and competing together throughout the winter. The teams will play a 10 week season that will include 9 training sessions and 8 weekly games. Training sessions and games will be played at the Danbury Sports Dome (DSD), and we will compete in the DSD U10 Soccer League on Saturday afternoons.

U14 Boys Crowned SWD B Division Champion!

Congratulations to the U14 Boys (Coach Aponte) on their
Southwest B Division Championship!

The boys were seeded 4th in the playoffs and toppled #1 seed Bridgeport and #2 seed Southbury on their way to being crowned Fall champions!

Cadigan Park Turf Field Rules


Please observe the rules for protecting the turf fields at Cadigan Park.

The new turf fields at Cadigan are a wonderful asset for our town and soccer programs, so please follow the posted rules which are imperative for protecting the new turf.

Synthetic Turf Field Rules and Regulations:

To preserve the quality of the turf and provide a clean and healthy environment,
the following are NOT allowed on the synthetic turf field:

  • NO Chairs on the turf; chairs are only allowed on grass/paved surfaces
  • NO Carts, canopies, umbrellas or spiked objects, high heeled shoes
  • NO Food, snacks, sports drinks, gum, sunflower or other seeds or nuts - WATER ONLY
  • NO Glass bottles / containers
  • NO Metal cleats, only rubber cleats are allowed
  • NO Chalk or field paint
  • NO Dogs or pets of any kind
  • NO Tobacco products, smoking or open flame
  • NO Golf playing
  • NO Fireworks or any open flame / Model planes/rockets
  • NO Motorized vehicles, bicycles, strollers
