NEW UNIFORM FITTING NIGHT

Dear CYH Families,

 

We are SO excited to introduce you to our NEW LOOK!!! Please remember to come to our FIRST ANNUAL jersey fitting night on Thursday, June 14th at the Peter Twomey Youth Center (see map below).  The scheduled fitting times are:


6:45-7:05 All U6 players- Registration is not yet opened, but will open soon. However, if you are committing your player, feel free to come, be fitted and check out the new uniform and apparel!

7:05-7:25 All U8 (Mite) players

7:25-7:45 All U10 (Squirt) players

7:45-8:05 All U12 & U14 (Pee Wee & Bantam players)

8:05- 8:45 All U16 & U18 (Midget players)

To ensure a proper fit, players will need their upper body pads. Skaters will need their shoulder pads and elbow pads, while goalies will needs their chest and arm protector.

 

Crusaders Youth Hockey will supply one uniform set to full-time players for the 2018-19 season.  Families with U8 up through Midget players, must have made at least one tuition payment or have confirmed a payment plan with the Treasurer or a jersey will not be ordered for your child. The Treasurer will be available tomorrow night, if you have any questions about your account or to accept payments. Full Time Alternates should purchase their own jerseys and socks.  Pay-to-Play Alternates may choose to buy their own jersey and socks or borrow from the Head Coach. Each team will have a generic jersey for use by Pay-to-Play Alternates who elect to not purchase their own uniform.

 

If you cannot attend your scheduled time,  come when you can. If you cannot come on 6/14, don’t worry, we will be in touch when we schedule another fitting night.

2018-2019 Season Registration - OPEN!

REMINDER!  Please Register for the 2018-2019 Season TODAY!!

 
Registration for the 2018-2019 Playing Season for U8 Mite, U10 Squirt, U12 Pee Wee, U14 Bantam and U16/U18 Midget is NOW OPEN!  
 
Registration for the 2018-2019 Season for Coaches is OPEN.
 
Registration for the 2018-2019 Season for U6-Mites (formerly Mini-Mites or Mite ADM) and LTS season - will not open until after April 1, 2018
 

Please register for next season using the Orange Register Now button (on the right side of the CYH home page) or by clicking on the Register On-Line Button in the Left Navigation Bar


Your NON-REFUNDABLE Player Registration/Evaluation Fee of $75 must be brought with you to the first player evaluation session for your player's division. Players will not be allowed to participate without receipt of the $75.

NEW - CYH Game Limited Alternate Program (Pay to Play)

 

Dear Members and Former Members,

Crusaders Youth Hockey is pleased to announce our NEW Game Limited Alternate Program - this program was voted in on July 26, 2017 and is now open for registration.

Game Limited Alternate Program (Pay to Play)

  1. The use of the Game Limited Alternate Players will be evaluated by the Board of Directors on an annual basis.    

  2. When authorized by the Board of Directors, Game Limited Alternate Players will be allowed to play on Crusader Youth Hockey (CYH) teams under the following conditions:

    1. Requests for Game Limited Alternate Player status must be submitted in writing by a parent or guardian using the CYH registration process;

    2. Each team may only have a maximum of three (3) Game Limited Alternate Players on the roster, exclusive of goalies.

    3. Players who request Game Limited Alternate status will be evaluated on a case by case basis by members of the Board of Directors for proper team placement. Evaluations may be held during a practice.

    4. Game Limited Alternate determinations shall be approved only after the expiration of all roster appeals

    5. Players whose registration request is approved will be added to the Team roster and will be offered the following consideration:

      1. ​Game Limited Alternate Players will commit to paying a $25 nonrefundable registration fee plus a $100 game retainer.  A $20 fee will be charged against the retainer for each game played.  The game retainer will be replenished to $100 when the balance drops to, or below, $20. Payment will follow the same terms and conditions of full-time players;

      2. Game Limited Alternate players will NOT be eligible to attend any Team’s scheduled, player development sessions or practices

      3. Game Limited Alternate Players will be invited to participate in games at the Coach’s discretion with the restrictions set forth below;

        1. Game Limited Alternate Players are permitted to play in games only if a full-time player is absent. Deviations to this requirement must be approved by the Board of Directors;

        2. Game Limited Alternate Players are permitted to play in all tournaments and playoffs if eligible under tournament and league by-laws;

      4. A Game Limited Alternate Player that wishes to play full-time, may do so at any time during the season provided there is room on the roster (less than 15 skaters) and the request is submitted prior to the roster deadline. All requests must be approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

      5. In the event that an Game Limited Alternate Player moves to full-time status, roster adjustments may be considered per 2.2;

      6. Game Limited Alternate Players that are approved to move to full-time status will be billed for the full dues.

Coordinator at each level will be in charge of tracking and calling/emailing for players.  Coaches will go through the coordinator if players are needed.  Full time alternates would be called first, then Game Limited, then full time players from lower teams.  This would be reset weekly as the full time alternates would be the first ones called from week to week. If full time alternate/game limited player number 1 is called one week, then player 2 would be called next and so on until the list is exhausted.  This would be consistent even if a player called did not play but had the opportunity.

Use of Crusaders Youth Hockey Name and Logos

Dear Members,

 

Any member who wishes to use the Crusaders Youth Hockey name and or logos, including those for the Tourney in the Woods must obtain written permission from the Board of Directors.  This is not limited to apparel or merchandising products. Members who want to obtain permission should submit their written request to our Auxiliary Director who will bring your request to the Board of Directors for Board approval.  Requests will be handled on a case by case basis and must be submitted each season - permission granted in one season does not guarantee permission the next.

HOW TO: Access Your Team's Roster

Dear Members,

If you are having trouble opening the team roster - please take the following steps:

  • Click on the Link in the message you received with your player's team assignment. 
  • Then in the upper RIGHT corner of the web page, you will see a LOG IN +    Please type in your personal email address and password used during registration at that location. 
  • Then click on Roster once the page loads.  

Do not click on ROSTER before login in, it will not work.

Alternately, you can also access the rosters by clicking on Edit My Account and logging into the web site from there.  You must be logged into the web site in order to view your roster.

Tuition Payment Instructions

We have enabled ONLINE payments for tuitions, the most convenient way for you to pay directly to your account using a credit card. 

You can follow these simple instructions to do so:  Sign in to your account on the CYH homepage-- www.crusadersyouthhockey.org.  Once signed in, click on "MY ACCOUNT" tab at the top of the page.   This will bring you to a page with all registered family members listed.  Scroll down to the bottom, click on the green tab in the right-hand corner labeled "PAY NOW", which will bring you to a new page.  From there, fill in the required fields, submit, and success!

 

If you are paying by check, please mail your tuition payments to Crusaders Youth Hockey, attn: Treasurer.  The mailing address is:
