Sean Farrell Family Day - Saturday, Sept. 19
On Saturday, September 19 we will once again host the Sean Farrell Family Day for our club. We want every age group present: U6-U18 to celebrate this young child's life and end the ISYL season the best way we know how with fun and togetherness.

The event will begin at 5:00 pm with games amongst ourselves and the finale will be the
Parents/Coaches vs Players game which is always a big hit. We will then move into the tent for food, a movie with popcorn and fun!!

As part of the Sean Farrell Family Day, we will be having a cookout for everyone. The ISYL will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, rolls, condiments and sodas. We are asking
families to bring salads/side dishes and/or desserts. We have designated items for each age
group. We are expecting approximately 130 - 150 people so if everyone can bring something
we will have enough for all to enjoy.

U6 - Breads/Irish breads/scones
U8 - Bottled water/watermelon/fruit
U10 - Salads(potato/pasta),chips
U12 - Juice boxes, dessert items
U14/16/18 - Chips/desert items

We hope you all can make it and we are looking forward to a great end of the season party!!

Subject: Use of Mouthguards (Gaelic Football)

A chara,

Ahead of this weekend's All-Ireland GAA Football Championship fixtures all counties, team officials and players are reminded that mouthguards are mandatory for players in all grades, in all Gaelic Football practice sessions and matches.

It also requested that counties would circulate this reminder to all club secretaries within the county at your earliest convenience.

For further information see: https://www.gaa.ie/medical-and-player-welfare/mouthguards/

Please note for a player to fail to comply with a Referee's instruction to use a mouthguard is a cautionable offence. (Riail 6.2 T.O. 2014 (Part 2))

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
