Hi All

We need to know immediately the following for the CYC in San Fran. There is an issue with the hotel and we need to get firm numbers before we go any further:

Your Name

Have you reserved your hotel rooms - yes or no

Dates you have reserved at the Hyatt

If you reserved your rooms in a different hotel, please let her know which one

Do you need hotel rooms and what dates you will be traveling and how many rooms

All Ireland Club Championship Squares - Sold Out

SQUARES ALL ARE GONE.   

NUMBERS WILL BE PICKED NEXT WEEK AND SENT OUT TO EVERYOJNE

Here's your chance!! We are selling $100 squares for this year's All Ireland Club Championship. $3000 per half!  WOW!!

You can either get a 1/2 or full square.

All funds raised go towards the club and help families with travel to San Fran.

You can contact Martin Kerr at 617-571-4723 or Paddi Stones at 617-592-0850 for squares or see any of the coaches at the indoor practice.

All squares must be paid for prior March 13.  Game is played on March 17.

So spread the word, if each family sells one square then the board will be filled!! Thank you for your support!!

CYC Hotel Update - San Fran. 75% rooms already booked.
Our hotel is already booked at 75%.  If you have not reserved your room already, please do so asap.  
 
We will be staying at the Hyatt Regency.  We really want all families to stay together.  The ISYL stayed in this hotel last time and it was a nice hotel.  Please book your room here.  If you have questions about hotel rooms please contact Sinead Williams at williamsjs@verizon.net or 6177941123.  Thank you.

The 2015 CYC will take place in San Francisco Treasure Island from July 30, 2015 (Thursday) through August 2 (Sunday).   The game schedule requires a five night stay in San Francisco starting on Wednesday, July 29.

Reminder:   As communicated early in February 2015,  there has been a change in the procedures with regard to hotels
 
1. Hotel rooms will not be block booked for clubs as in past years.
Clubs will not be assigned to specific Hotels. Hotel rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis.
It will be up to each individual family to book rooms themselves.
Clubs that wish to stay in the same hotel will need to coordinate bookings themselves. To book a block of rooms in the same hotel clubs will need to put down an individuals credit/debit card on the booking for the rooms and then be responsible for the commitment to that room(s).   If you book rooms under one name, please call back at least 30 days in advance of CYC and put actual names and credit cards on the rooms.
 
As per CYC Rules clubs who do not stay at CYC approved Hotels will not receive CYC Stipend and will not have bus transport available to and from the fields. 
 
2. Clubs/parents can review the hotel using the comparison sheet. The rates secured by the Host Committee are valid for booking up until June 7After this date, these rates cannot be guaranteed. It is highly advisable to have Hotel accommodation booked before this date. 
 
3.  There are no room cancellations after June 7.  The expectation is that you or your club can find another family to take the room if you need to cancel.  Any outright cancellations after June  7 may be charged to the individual card that secured the booking.
 
4. The Host Committee has secured 3 downtown SF hotels, each with different amenities. Each hotel has a limited option for additional days at each hotel, based on availability (+/- 3 days).  The rates for the extra days are the same, based on availability (The one exception is the Hyatt Regency, where there is a higher rate leading up to CYC dates, but the CYC rate is available after the CYC competition).  The availability shows up when you do an online booking (letting you book a longer stay all at one time) or you can inquire about availability when phoning in.  If any issues with the availability of extra nights or type of rooms available, please email   and we can try and request more rooms to be set aside (no guarantee but we can try).

Cape Cod St. Patrick's Day Parade Details - Saturday, March

 

We will be participating in the Cape Cod St. Patrick's Day Parade this coming Saturday, March 7.  Below are details for those traveling down:

We are asking for all our families to be at the Town' N County Motor Lodge by 9:00 am so we can organize the group.

Players will be given our ISYL jerseys to wear on the day.

We have a float this year thanks to Martin O'Riordan that will be decorated for St. Patrick's Day and ISYL colors.

Players should bring helmets and hurls.   You will be asked at the reviewing stand to do a demonstration of football and hurling.

START: BASS RIVER SPORTS WORLD (934 Rt 28, South Yarmouth)
END: Town N’ Country Motor Lodge (452 Rt 28, South Yarmouth)
It’s a 2 miles walk. Dress for the weather.  The parade is held rain or shine.  Hope for Shine!!!
RIDE TO BEGINNING OF PARADE ROUTE 
People marching in the parade can park their cars at the end of the parade at the Town N' Country Motor Lodge 452 Main St, Yarmouth, MA 02673 by 9 am to get a school bus ride to the start of the parade. The parade ends near the Town N' Country at the the police escort.
MARCHERS:
We are in Division A9.  You should line up in the designated area.  


MERGING OF THE FLOAT AND MARCHERS
Our Float will go by at the start of the parade and then the marchers will follow as they merge the floats in with the marchers.

PARADE START TIME 
The Parade starts at promptly at 11 am. All marchers must be at Bass River Sports World (934 Massachusetts 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664 ) by 9:00 am

This is a great honor for our group.  Everyone enjoy themselves. The weather is looking great for Saturday. Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you.

Dates for 2015 CYC Tournament in San Francisco
