Girls Only Gaelic Boston

G.O. Gaelic - Girls Only Gaelic

New girls Gaelic football program coming this May and running through the summer! A team of qualified and highly experienced ladies footballers from the Boston Senior Ladies clubs have committed themselves to providing coaching and mentoring to our young ladies players across the Boston Northeast division.

Training and coaching sessions will rotate among the Boston Northeast Youth Club locations. All sessions will be open to girls of all ages and experience levels, and from all clubs. Training sessions will be focused on skill development and game play, while providing quality coaching for players of all age groups (Under 6 through Under 18) and skill levels.

Our hope is to serve each and every single ladies youth player in the division; providing them with the benefits of high quality coaching, consistent games and training sessions, lifelong friendships, and a love for the sport. The ultimate goal of the program is to lay the foundations for a pipeline of successful ladies youth and adult teams here in our division for the future.

From: Gearoid Devitt

To: Gearoid Devitt
Subject: Use of Mouthguards (Gaelic Football)

A chara,

Ahead of this weekend's All-Ireland GAA Football Championship fixtures all counties, team officials and players are reminded that mouthguards are mandatory for players in all grades, in all Gaelic Football practice sessions and matches.

It also requested that counties would circulate this reminder to all club secretaries within the county at your earliest convenience.

For further information see: https://www.gaa.ie/medical-and-player-welfare/mouthguards/

Please note for a player to fail to comply with a Referee's instruction to use a mouthguard is a cautionable offence. (Riail 6.2 T.O. 2014 (Part 2))

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Is mise le meas
