CFC North - Winter Programs

CFC North is excited to announce their programs for this upcoming winter.  We will have programs for players from 4-18 years old.  New this year are Futsal clinics at Star Hill (Tolland). Below are the details of the programs and locations.

2018/19 CFC Winter Teams!

*Note: Evaluation is required to join current CFC teams for winter.  These programs are for above average athletes/playes looking to be challenged.

U8-U10 CFC Developmental

Developing players at these ages has been critical to CFC’s success as one of the strongest clubs not only in Connecticut but regionally in New England.  Players will train in groups broken up by age and ability.  Focus of program is around improving the players comfort on the ball through plenty of repetitions and small-sided games.  Training will be held once a week locally with weekend games occuring at Sportsworld (East Windsor) or Star Hill (Tolland).

Boys and Girls born 2012 - 2009.

Benefits of Futsal Clinics

Clinics are recommended for soccer and futsal players who want to improve their foot skills, quick thinking and technique within a small team environment.

THIS PROGRAM WILL MAKE SOCCER PLAYERS FAST... VERY FAST!

We designs our futsal clinics by targeting players of all levels. We create a learning environment that focuses on building skills, confidence and encouraging creativity while enhancing a player's passion for the game. The priority of our futsal clinics is to work on players' individual skills that coaches are not able to teach during team practices.

CFC United ECNL 2002's Capture Conference Championship

Conference Champions!

June 3, 2018
ORANGEBURG, NY:  Two goals by Kacey Lawrence and a shut out by Jenna Hall and the CFC defense, provided the final margin of victory as the CFC United ECNL 2002 girls defeated World Class yesterday afternoon 2-0.  Peyton McNamara and Olivia Kells assisted the goals, while Chloe Landers, Sofia Germano, Karsen Pirone, Mia Gonzalez and Ava Simunovic anchored down the defense for the team's 4th consecutive league shutout.

With a 10-1-1 league record, CFC claimed the first ever Northeast Conference Championship in club history, and the team's 15-3-2 overall record was good for 3rd in the country during the regular season--a season that saw them defeat the #2 and #3 teams in the country, sandwiched around a 1-0 defeat to the defending National Champion and current #1 team, So Cal Blues.

Next up for the U16 team is a trip to Seattle for the ECNL National Championships from June 21-26 as they try to improve upon last year's 9th place finish.

CFC CLUB STRUCTURE OVERVIEW

CONNECTICUT FOOTBALL CLUB STRUCTURE

As outlined below, there are two distinct branches in nearly every area that work as "brother/sister" branches.  At the younger ages, each branch has its own developmental program and Premier teams from U11-U13.  At the U14 age, the United program begins for both boys and girls for the most talented and committed players in the club.  The United Girls have two teams per age group and compete in the ECNL and NPL, while the boys program has one team that will compete in the ECNL (starting in '17/'18) and one that will continue to compete in the NEP NPL League.

For those that do not want to make the commitment involved with the United program, CFC offers State and Regional Level teams for the U14-U18 age groups.  Based locally in the branch areas, the two branches closest to each other work together to form teams that will play in the Region I League and the Connecticut State Cup.  If the demand is there, each branch may field separate teams from U14-U18, but there will always be a convenient place to play for players of all ability levels.

Whether your goal is to play soccer at the highest level in college, or stay sharp for your high school season, CFC offers something for everyone.
