The Future of the CT Barons

After 5 great years, we have notified the CHC that the Norwalk RR/CT Barons will not be entering teams into the CHC at the Tier 2 or any other level for Bantams and below for the 2018-2019 season.

As many of you are well aware of, it took us 3 years to become CHC Members (the 1st new member in over 10 years) and we believe there is tremendous value in the membership and will look to utilize that membership in future years and continue what was started. The organization was built upon the players, parents, families and coaches who all believed that the organization should provide a place to play for all players regardless of their skill level. To the CT Barons, winning was defined as making sure every player developed at their pace, had fun and always wanted to come back for more. We won our fair share of State Tournaments but more importantly the kids had fun along the way.

It truly has been a pleasure to meet and become friends with so many families over this journey. As we figure out what lies ahead, you will see the program revert back to its original name, the CT Barons.

As a reminder, we have been working with the CHC and have granted any player who is paid in full a full release through a process called a "blanket release" with the CHC.

The CHC has a list of these names and when you choose a team for the 2018-2019 season all you need to do is email Kathy Ludwig at   your new place to play.

Thank you to everyone for making this a great environment for all the kids to most importantly have fun, develop and make new friends. It has been a pleasure and we hope to see everyone in the future.
