All Los Alamos teams, regardless of level, are in locker room 3.

Players are encouraged to zip up their belongings before heading out to the ice.

Visiting teams are assigned to locker rooms 2 and 4 with the younger age group going into 4. Visiting Varsity teams are ALWAYS in locker room 2, no exceptions.

Females of all teams and of all ages are assigned to locker room 1.

No males or teams with males may be assigned or use locker room 1, at any time.

Be respectful of our guests and the levels that are sharing locker rooms.

All skaters, including Atoms and Mites, are discouraged from changing in the warming hut.

Concussion Information

As this season rapidly approaches, our coaches and volunteers are making sure that their trainings are up to date. One of those requirements is to complete a concussion awareness course so that they are familiar with the signs and symptoms of a concussion so that they can actively work to keep your player safe. The CDC offers this free course at the following website.

https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html

Please feel free to take the course if you wish to be up to date on what coaches will be looking for this season. A reference sheet is attached as well.

Here's to a season where we never have to use this information!

18-19 Season Registration

Registration for the 2018-2019 season is now open for all age divisions.

Please read for clarification, and if it is still unclear please ask.

ATOMS

Atom Registration for Birth Year 2011 and later: First time player ages 7 and under may register free for the first half of the season, Phase IReturning Atoms of any age will need to pay for registration. If your player is Birth Year 2011 and has played before they will be a Mite, and should register below.

<span style="cursor: inherit; margin-top: 1px; width: 16px; height: 16px; float: left; display: inline-block; background-image: url(" https:="" leagueathletics.com="" ckeditor="" plugins="" icons.png?t="E8PB");" background-size:="" auto;="" background-repeat:="" no-repeat="" !important;="" background-position:="" 0px="" -24px="" background-attachment:="" initial="" background-origin:="" background-clip:="" background-color:="" !important;"="">

Recreational Teams

Recreational House: The Mite (8U-Birth Year 2010 and 2011), Squirt (10U-Birth Year 2008 and 2009), Peewee (12U-Birth Year 2006 and 2007), Bantam (14U-Birth Year 2004 and 2005), Midget/JV (18U-Birth Year 2000 and younger) levels which requires play in games against other New Mexico recreational hockey teams (NMRHL), in addition to house league games. This will require you to travel to Santa Fe, Taos, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho to play games.

High School ages register for the highest level team on which they plan to play, see below for explainations on the differences between Midget Developmental/JV or Varsity.

High School

High school aged athletes should register for the highest level team on which they plan to play, Midget Developmental (formerly known as JV) or Varsity. Players born in 2004 have many options, Bantam, Midget Developmental, or Varsity (if selected). Register that player for the highest level team on which they plan to play. If they would like to play with the Midget Developmental team they only need to sign up for that and they will be eligible to play at the Bantam level as well; the higher fee covers play at both levels. If they do not want to play with the Midget Developmental team then they will need to register for Bantams. The key is to register the player for the HIGHEST level team for which they will play games.
