NSA’s trained baseball staff will conduct 90 minutes baseball oriented workouts in a fast, safe, dynamic and fun environment on our 90’x200’ fully netted turf field, and our batting cages.  Players will be divided up into three age appropriate groups and will be rotated through three baseball stations:

1. Throwing and Catching Pop Flys- : dynamic throwing work through the entire progression, then eye, foot and glove work for handling pop flys as infielders and/or outfielders (25 minutes)

2. Hitting (1/2 turf): t-work, soft toss, tennis ball bouncing, inside-outside hitting, and more advanced work for more developed players (1/2 turf)

3.  Fielding and Baseball knowledge  (1/2 turf): Infield and age appropriate glove and footwork drills, player to player, coach with players, set up 60 or 70 foot infield depending on age, divvy kids up at each position and rotate them through all the infield positions, each player takes two balls and makes a play to first, attempts to turn two for the older kids, then rotate players so each individual gets a rotation at each position.  Our planned work out will attempt to keep their attention and keep them working, with age appropriate skills and drills.
