TriState Special Projects & Training 2018/19 *- Document outlines the special training projects for the 2018/19 season. 3. Intro to USSA Ski Racing *- This Study Guide serves as an introduction to ski racing for parents and new officials. Downloading, printing and reading the Study Guide must not be substituted for actual attendance at a USSA-approved Clinic or used as a replacement for actual instruction at any USSA-approved Clinic.

Alpine Training System (ATS) *- Before an athlete can become a truly great ski racer, they must become a great skier.
That is, the development should first focus on a skier's athletic skills and their skiing foundation, before focusing extensively on ski racing. These core skills are developed to a large degree outside of traditional race courses.
But there's more to it than just skiing skills. Kids are in it to have fun and be with friends as well. The Alpine Training System is designed to take all these factors into account an

USSA's CENTER OF EXCELLENCE TV FAQ’S *- Center of Excellence TV (COE TV) is a resource tool for USSA member coaches and athletes.
The site features a variety of video clips on a range of topics from fundamentals exercises and
analysis of elite and developmental level skiers and riders to strength and conditioning, sport
nutrition and more. As a benefit to USSA members, all current USSA coaches and athletes will
be set up with full access to the video collection. Only a partial selection of videos is viewable
to the general public.
