Concussion training information
by Mark Newman posted 3/8/2018

All coaches must complete an approved Concussion Awareness training program. This is required by Minnesota state law for all coaches and officials involved with youth sports.

Concussion training is valid for three years, and training taken for other sports qualifies as well; just send in a copy of the certificate.

Online concussion training is available from the CDC here. Select the "Coaches" link on the left-hand menu. The training takes between 30 and 45 minutes.

Once the training is completed,  a copy of the completion certificate to GAL.
