Tips For getting in 6-Innings
Coaching Tips for getting in 6-innings in a Minor B game: Each inning give your players their fielding assignments while still in the dugout before the last out and have the catcher geared up ready to go. If the catcher is on base, then give another kid the mask and a glove to do the job. Don't hold a team meeting while leaving the dugout and taking the field. The inning transition is supposed to last 1 minute. If it takes 5 minutes, thats 48 minutes taken from playing time in a 6 inning game.
