Black Hawks Are Region Champs
by posted 11/10/2017

LET'S GO Black Hawk Nation!!!

The Black Hawks home playoff game did not end as we would have hoped.  The team did take the lead in the 2nd quarter on a touchdown pass to Nick Cupp-Allen.  A costly interception in the 3rd put the Firebirds on the board but a blocked PAT kept the Black Hawks ahead.  The Firebirds took the lead in the 4th with a touchdown and successful 2-point conversion but the Black Hawks tied the score on a touchdown run by Jaden Thompson.  Midway through the 4th, the Black Hawks held the Firebirds to only a field goal but the last drive for the Black Hawks came up short and spoiled the teams hopes to advance to round 2.

All in all, 2017 proved to be a great season for the Black Hawks as they overcame mid-season struggles to maintain their title of San Tan Region Champs!

GO BLACK HAWKS!!!
