Visit Arooga's in Shelton on Thursday, November 15th and 15% of your bill will offset the costs of the teams participating in the International Tournament next summer. We'll be handing out cards during Tuesday's practice and at Arooga's that evening. You can also download it here. Feel free to pick up some extras to share with friends & family!
There will be an information session for those families interested in learning more about the International Tournament held in Portugal next June on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00 @ Arooga's.

While the fall season is coming to a close, there are still several things happening for the Revolution community.
We will be taking team photos during practices on Tuesday, November 13.

Cold Weather Drive
We partnered with two local Bridgeport schools and are collecting cold weather gear during the month of November. Please bring any new or gently used scarves, hats, jackets or gloves for kids between the ages of 3-15 and drop it off at the Revolution table during the following Tuesday night practices: 11/13, 11/20, 11/27

Holiday Toy Drive
We will be collecting new unwrapped toys this holiday season in support of Brady's Smiles, a local charity. If you want to donate, please see the attached wish list and drop it off during the following Tuesday night practices: 11/13, 11/20, 11/27, 12/4 and 12/11.
Division I College Coach Joins Revolution United FC

We are excited to announce Jonathan “Jonny” Raj will be joining us as Boys Head Coach and College Advisory Program Director for the upcoming season. In addition to his duties as Head Coach, Jonny will be working closely with U16-U19 high school players and parents to provide guidance, support, and education on procedures and expectations during the college application and recruiting process.
Jonny has an impressive soccer resume. He is currentlyFairfield University men's soccer program as an assistant coach and prior to Fairfield, Jonny spent two seasons as an assistant at the University of Bridgeport.
Here are some his impressive achievements:
Four-year varsity soccer player at Fairfield University
Earned three All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) first team honors
First Team New England All Region Honors junior and senior year.
Spent two summers playing for the Chicago Fire in the PDL serving as a captain in which they reached the quarterfinal of the US Open Cup as an amateur side eventually falling to eventual winners Sporting Kansas City.
Jonny also spent a year with Reading United out of PA who are a feeder club to the Philadelphia Union MLS franchise.
Served as a captain his junior year in which they were MAAC Regular season champions as well as eventual MAAC Champions.
Before Fairfield the defender played with the New Zealand U20 national team before deciding to enroll at Fairfield University. He was also a part of Auckland City FC who were winners of the Oceania Federation and earned a berth to the FIFA Club World Cup.

Light The Night is an evening walk and fundraising event supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission to find cures for blood cancers. It is our communities' night to bring light to the darkness of cancer by celebrating those who are fighting the disease and to honor those we have lost. We will be walking in memory of Kyle Markes. The Markes family are dear friends. Leukemia took 11-year-old Kyle away from us Christmas Eve of 2013 after a brave yearlong battle. He was an amazing young man that was beloved by all. Kyle and his family have inspired us all with their strength, courage, and faith in God.
2.You can also consider donating towards this cause
No amount is too small, we are trying in my own small way to help fight cancer.

On Wednesday, October 10th at 7:00 PMRevolution United FC will be supporting the Fairfield University Men's Soccer Team at the Lessing Field, Fairfield University.
This is a great for all players to experience "first hand" what it is to play in a Division 1 College. In addition, our Revolution U9 teams have been invited to escort the Staggs on the field and Revolution Players will be able to play on the field at half time.
All players must wear the Red Revolution warm ups (Sweat pants and the red RUFC jacket).
Fir this event, group discounted tickets can be purchased online for $3/person using the link below. Every player must have a ticket to be admitted into the game.
If anyone wishes to purchase tickets at the door they will have to pay full price.
The players can also join the Lil’ Stags Club<http://fairfieldstags.com/kidsclub>, which will grant them admission to all on campus sporting events throughout the year, including Wednesday’s game. If your child is already a member they just need to show their member badge at the entrance.
Revolution United FC player Jason Deck to represent USA in the World Maccabiah Games in Israel
Revolution 98s player, Jason Deck will represent USA in the World Maccabiah Games in Israel. Jason competed with over 150 players at tryouts and his hard work and soccer skills, helped him get a roster spot in the USA team.
We are extremely proud of Jason for his hard work and commitment to the club. In addition, we would like to recognize Coach Floyd for “for motivating him to never give up on and off the field”

The Revolution United FC ‘99 Boys won the 2015 Connecticut State Cup Championship with a 1-0 win over Hamden Ginga in the semi-finals and then gained an impressive 3-0 win over CFC United’s ‘99/’00s in the Finals to earn the right to compete in the Region-1 Championships.
The 18 boys represented the Fairfield, Connecticut-based Revolution United FC and the great state of Connecticut on the grand stage of the US Soccer Region-1 Championships!

Revolution takes Jamaica by Storm
Revolution United FC in April stormed Jamaica as part of a good will tour to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Coach Floyd Neil took the Revolution United U14 and U17 teams to Ocho Rios Jamaica to play the local high school teams. The Revolution U14 and U17 teams played 5 games during the week long trip along with playing the Resort Staff in a pickup game on the last full day in Jamaica. Along with the games the teams went to Dunn River Falls to see natures beauty that Jamaica has to offer, shopping, dolphin experience, snorkeling, fishing, as well as a trip to Steer Town Academy were some of the other activities the teams along with their parents participated in.
Revolution United FC was awarded a certificate of appreciation for all of the donations they provided to the high schools. Revolution United FC U14 and U17 collected donations from companies, soccer clubs, parents and more to donate soccer balls, uniforms, cleats, backpacks, socks, shin guards and more to the teams Revolution played while in Jamaica.
