Baseball Summer Camps

Redondo Sunset Baseball Summer Camps

This year we are having our first Summer Camp with our professional coaching staff!

All proceeds will also help fund our Redondo Sunset kids and coaches in the Pony Division (12-14) who will be going to Japan for the 43rd Pony USA and Pony Japan Friendship Exchange  (Aug 3-16th).

FOR AGES 7-14 years old


CAMP 1  
July 2nd - 6th (4 DAY CAMP, M/T/Th/F) (July 4th is OFF)


Early Bird before June 11th $230 (Redondo Sunset Players) / $245 (non Sunset Players)
$260 (Redondo Sunset players) / $275 (Non Sunset players)


CAMP 2  
July 9th - 13th (5 DAY CAMP, M-F)


Early Bird before June 11th - $280 (Redondo Sunset players) / $295 (Non Sunset players)
After June 10th - $310 (Redondo Sunset players) / $325 (Non Sunset players)



Camps run from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Both CAMPs focus on - Basic Fundamentals for all levels, Pitching, Catching, fielding, conditioning and scrimmages. Position specific training too.

4 cages, 4 fields,

Limited to 50 kids per session

Lunch is not included, please have your child with lunch.
Lunch break is between 12-1

Camp T-shirt provided for all Players



Carlos Avila (IF)
At Narbonne High School where he won three league titles and was named MVP two of those years, made the Daily Breeze team three years, as well as the All Dream Team and All LA City three years. From LA Harbor College (also was First-team/Gold Glove), he transferred to CSU, Dominguez Hills earning another Gold Glove (2013) and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins. After playing two years with the Twins, he played in the Major leagues of Mexico for the Monclova Acereros. Since 2016, he has been one of the head coaches and a founder of our Redondo Sunset Wharf Rats program.


Koby Gauna (P)

4 years varsity starter at Saint John Bosco high school, scholarship to Cal State Fullerton and was a freshman all American. Drafted as junior to the Oakland A’s and played 3 years Pro. Now he is the 13U Head coach at Redondo Sunset


Trent Gilbert (IF)

Trent Gilbert went to Torrance high school where he was 3 yr varsity player, 2x MVP, 2x first team all-area, 1st team LA times,1st team ESPN, all state Shortstop and Drafted by the Marlins. He decided to go to college where he attended the University of Arizona starting every game. He also won a National championship as an All PAC12 selection player. In his junior year, he was drafted by the Oakland As where he played 4 years,


Marvin Flores(C)
After graduating Marymount California University, Marvin joined the Coaching staff in the fall of 2016. Marvin is the catching coach and first base coach where he produced a first team all-conference catchers both years as catching coach.
Local athlete, Flores graduated from Torrance High School in 2010. While attending Torrance High, they reached CIF finals back-to-back years in 2009/2010 and earning All-Pioneer League selection as well.

Omar Avila
Omar went to Narbonne high school where he was MVP of the Marine league, 3 time Daily Breeze player, All LA city team selection and received a scholarship to play D1 at Texas Pan-Am where he spent his freshman year. He now transferred to MarymountUniversityy where he is currently playing
