My child has never played, what is a good way to be introduced to the sport?

Carlsbad Youth Lacrosse offers Pre-season clinics each year, which is a great way to introduce a new player to the sport.  Depending on the time of year, there are great camps and clinics offered in the San Diego area as well.  Box Lacrosse (offered by 3D Lacrosse at the YMCA in Encinitas) is another great way for a player to develop and refine their lacrosse skills.  Additionally, watching YouTube videos of lacrosse drills and playing wall ball can really help a player develop.

I want to get my child playing with Carlsbad Youth Lacrosse, how do I go about doing that?
