2018/19 Player Placement
Registration & Procedures

Park City Soccer Club will host player placement sessions for
the 2018/19 soccer year at Trailside Park

            - Sessions for boys and girls born 2011 - 2009 are scheduled for Monday, May 21 
               and Tuesday, May 22
            - Sessions for boys and girls born 2008 - 2001 sessions are scheduled for Tuesday,
               May 29 through Friday, June 1

1. Pre-Register.  All players must be registered for player placements
            - Pre-registration is strongly recommended
            - Pre-registration closes at noon on the first day of player placement for each specific
              age group
            - To pre-register players born in years 2011 - 2009:  CLICK HERE

2. Player Placement Schedule.
Player placement sessions will be held on two consecutive days and players should
              attend both days
            - Any player not able to make both (or either) placement days should contact

3. Come Prepared. 
Players must wear cleats and shin guards
            - Players should bring water or a sports drink 
            Players should not wear PC Soccer Club training kits or uniforms
            - Players should also be prepared for the weather (sunscreen, rain gear, Under
              Amour, etc..)

4. Player Placement Check In
     Day One.
All players must check in at Headquarters at least thirty minutes prior to their session
          - Headquarters is located in the Park Room on the lower level of Trailside Park, by the 
          - Players not pre-registered must complete an on-line registration, with a parent or legal
          - Upon check in, players will receive a placement number to wear; this number is required
            both days

     Day Two.
All players must check in at Headquarters at least fifteen minutes prior to their session
          - Players must display the number they were assigned on Day One

5. Uniform Sizing:  
           2018/19 starts a new uniform cycle; all players will be required to
             purchase new uniform kits

           - Uniform samples will be on hand for players to try on and note their sizing
           - Uniform kits are ordered individually by each player through soccer.com

6. Proceed to Designated Placement Session Field.  
           - A map and field assignments by birth year will be posted on the wall in Headquarters
                         Note: The lower field is at Trailside Park, not Trailside Elementary

7. Placement Results. 
           - Placement results for 2011 - 2009 players will be posted on the Club website by
             Thursday evening, May 24  
           - Placement results for 2008 - 2001 players will be posted on the Club website by
              Sunday evening, June 3       
           - Placement results will be posted by number, not player name; players should
              record their placement number after their first session            
           - Players named to a team will also receive a letter with acceptance/registration

8. Player Registration & PCSC Orientation Meetings. 
UYSA is permitting players to register for their team this year upon receipt of their
                   Note:  This will occur earlier than the first Monday in June from previous years
           - All players will register through UYSA’s Affinity system (same as Placement
           - Detailed instructions will be included in their player welcome letter
           - All parents are encouraged to attend PCSC’s Welcome & Information Meeting to hear
             DOC Eli Ulvi's Club philosophy, discussion about player progression, and plans for the
             coming year; new parents are strongly encouraged to attend
