Coaching staff will consist of Head Coach, Anne Kordes along with her current coaching staff, former U of L players and current U of L players.

All campers will receive a confirmation via email upon receipt of deposit. Please make sure you list a valid email address in order to receive additional camp information.

 

 

All Skills Camp I ~ June 6-8

 

All Skills camp will focus on developing and improving the fundamentals of volleyball. Passing, serving, setting, defense, attacking, blocking as well as team systems and competition. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on June 6th and camp sessions run from 9:00a-12:00p and 1:00-3:30p daily.

 

$25 cancellation fee per camper

 

Camp Fee-$250 (lunch & t-shirt included)

 

 

Setting/Hitting Camp I ~ June 9

 

Setting/Hitting camp is designed to develop the fundamental skills of setting and attacking. This one-day camp will focus on setter footwork, technique and decision-making. Hitters will focus on approach footwork, arm swing and shot selection. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on June 9th and camp sessions will run from 9:00a-12:00p and 1:00p-3:00p.

 

$25 cancellation fee per camper

 

Camp Fee-$110 (lunch & t-shirt included)

 

 

Serving Camp I ~ June 10

 

Our serving camp is designed to develop the fundamentals of serving for beginners to advanced. We will teach each type of serve including standing float serve, jump float serve and top spin serve. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on June 10th and camp will run from 9:00a-12:00p.

 

$25 cancellation fee per camper

 

Camp Fee-$65 (t-shirt included)

 

 

All Skills Camp II ~ July 6 & 7

 

All Skills camp will focus on developing and improving the fundamentals of volleyball. Passing, serving, setting, defense, attacking, blocking as well as team systems and competition. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on July 6th and camp sessions run from 9:00a-12:00p and 1:00-3:30p daily.

Positional Skills Camp ~ July 6 & 7

 

All participants will receive individual instruction from U of L coaching staff on a specific position.

  • 2 night sessions from 4:30-7:30p will be set aside for specialty sessions
  • Advanced, detailed instruction in the fundamentals and tactics of each skill will be taught in a 3-hour session.
  • Specific position topics will include setting, outside and right side hitting, middle hitting and serve receive/defense.

 

Please indicate which specialty skill you will participate in.

Camp check in begins at 3:45p on July 6th.

Libero Camp ~ July 8

 

Libero camp is designed for athletes who have identified themselves as a libero or defensive specialist. This camp will focus on passing and defensive techniques. The skills you will learn are forearm passing, overhead passing, various defensive techniques and reading the attacker. Campers will also learn leadership skills that are crucial to the libero position. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on July 8th and camp sessions will run from 9:00a-12:00p and 1:00p-3:00p.

 

$25 cancellation fee per camper

High School Team Camp ~ July 11-13

 

High School Team Camp is designed to prepare teams before entering the high school season. Each team will compete in skill training & scrimmages throughout the camp. Camp is open to every high school team and player. Registration will begin at 10:00am on July 11th at Threkheld Hall. The first session will begin at 1:00p on July 11th. The last day (July 13th) of camp will end at 12:00p. Space is limited.

 

CAMPER FEE

 

High School Fee-$250

U of L provides a head coach to train your team for the duration of camp. This fee allows one high school coach to accompany the team with meals & lodging included. The school fee is non-refundable & due by May 15th to secure a spot for your team. This fee is separate & does not go towards the camper fees.

 

Overnight-$310 (housing, meals & t-shirt included)

Commuter-$260 (lunch, dinner & t-shirt included)

 

  • Coaches must collect and send in all campers applications, payments & medical releases together.
  • Team registrations must be received by June 10th.
  • Minimum of 9 players per team.
  • Housing & meals will be included for one coach.
  • Any additional coach will cost $125/coach to cover housing and meals.

Setting/Hitting Camp II ~ July 14

Serving Camp II ~ July 14

VolleyTots

 

Louisville Volleyball VolleyTots series is designed to teach young boys and girls ages 4-8 the FUNdamentals of volleyball. Teaching basic drills using scooters, ladders, and large volleyballs, children will increase foot speed, develop eye-hand coordination, and engage in social development.

 

Our VolleyTots series will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00p-7:30pm over a 3 week period. July 13th, July 20th, & July 27th.

Check-in will begin at 5:15p on July 13th.

 

$25 cancellation fee per camper

 

Camp Fee-$60 (t-shirt included)

 

 

ALL SKILLS CAMP LEVELS(indicate one of the following when registering for All Skills Camps)

 

Advanced

  • Advanced technical and tactical instruction
  • Excellent preparation for high school season
  • Qualified high-level international and collegiate level coaching staff including current U of L players.

 

Developmental

  • Emphasis on fundamentals
  • Beginning to intermediate systems of offense and defense

 

Beginner

  • Instruction and drills adapted for younger players in smaller groups
  • Lots of fun activities to go along with high-level volleyball instruction

  • All drop-offs and pick-ups will be @ the YUM! Center on campus.

     (NOT KFC YUM! ARENA)

CANCELLATION FEE

All cancellations must be received in writing 30 days prior to the first day of camp in order to qualify for a partial refund. Failure to meet this deadline will result in forfeiture of all payments.

 

MEDICAL STAFF

Athletic Trainers will supervise each camp

                                                                                                                         

MEDICAL WAIVERS

Medical waivers must be received in order to participate. Please print off, sign and send in with registration or bring a signed copy to the first day of camp.

Provided for all camps, except Positional camp, Serving camp & VolleyTots.
