All of our Raider Youth coaching staff is required to submit a background check; obtain a Level 1 or above certification through US Lacrosse. In 2015 our coaching staff had a coaches training clinic with Jamie DeBole from Texas Heat Lacrosse. 2016 coaches had the benefit of training with C2C Lacrosse, a national lacrosse organization to ensure the best possible experience for our athletes.
Cedar Ridge HS lacrosse athletes assist our coaching staff during spring season and also participate as coaches for clinics and camps throughout the year.

JERRY KARACZ - Coach Jerry has been with us in a coaching capacity since 2014. He graduated from Tufts University with an undergraduate degree in child development and a Masters in Education. At Tufts University, Jerry was a four year starter for the varsity football team and served as the team captain during the 1998 season. During his time at Tufts, he worked with the lacrosse and basketball teams filming games and working scoreboards.
He has worked in education for the past 15 years and is currently the Elementary Mathematics Coordinator for Pflugerville ISD. In addition to coaching for RRYL, his experience has ranged from T-ball up to high school football. He’s excited and enthusiastic about coaching our Bantam players on the lacrosse field! His son plays on our Bantam team.
JASON CREEDON-McVEAN Jason Creedon-McVean was born in Fort Worth, TX. When he was 2-years-old, his family moved to Seattle, WA. Jason grew up in the greater Seattle metropolitan area, where he attended The Overlake School. While attending Overlake, he lettered in basketball and lacrosse for the Owls. Overlake made it to the Washington State Lacrosse Division I Semifinals both Jason's Junior and Senior seasons.
Jason returned to his roots for college, attending Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. As a freshman, he joined Southwestern’s MDIA Men’s Lacrosse Team. In 1997, Jason was the only freshman to start in every game, and was voted 'Freshman of the Year' by his coach and teammates. He was a Captain of the team and voted President of the Southwestern Men’s Lacrosse Club both his Sophomore and Junior seasons. A "natural attackman," Jason played midfield as a Freshman and Sophomore, before returning to his position of preference for his final two seasons at Southwestern. Jason graduated from Southwestern in 2002 with a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Jason served as an assistant under Head Coach Brian Henning at McNeil High School during 2003. In 2005, Jason returned to his alma mater as a volunteer assistant coach, and helped Head Coach Bill Bowman lead the Pirates to their first of five straight MCLA Lone Star Alliance Division II Championships.
After a brief hiatus, Jason returned to the lacrosse world when he was hired by the Texas Box Lacrosse Association (TBLA). He coached both youth and high school age groups in the fundamentals of the box game from 2012 through 2013.
In February of 2015, Jason joined the Round Rock Youth Lacrosse family of coaches.

DONNIE MURRAY Donnie has played and coached lacrosse for 12 years. He started playing lacrosse in Jr High when he moved to Arizona from California. Donnie played Varsity lacrosse at Hamilton High School located in Chandler, AZ, starting all 4 years as goalie. He was a major contributor to the state winning team as a Junior and holds multiple records/awards. During his high school career, Donnie played on multiple travel teams for the state of Arizona. After high school, he continued his lacrosse career and pursuit of higher education by attending Mercyhurst Junior College in Northeast Pennsylvania for a year. Donnie then transferred to Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. He was part of the University's inaugural DIII team. During his collegiate career, Donnie was honored and recognized multiple times by SCAC for his efforts on and off the field. He was also a major influencer, administrator, and coach for Brady's Bunch Lacrosse Organization. Donnie has joined the coaching staff for Cedar Ridge High School. Coach Donnie joined Raider Youth Lacrosse in Spring 2016.
COLIN TANLER Colin joins us from Minnesota where he played on a nationally ranked varisty lacrosse team. His coaching experience includes summer and winter clinics in Minnesota and leading the Raider 2016 fall Skills & Drills. Colin will be coaching one of our spring season teams.
STEPHEN MAMOLA Stephen played lacrosse all four years of high school. Earning the award of most improved JV player junior year. Following high school, he held a position as assistant coach the JV team for Georgetown High School. Stephen is coaching our Raider 2016 fall skills & drills and will continue on our coaching staff for the upcoming spring season.
