Chandler Lacrosse

Director of Youth Development & Head Coach: Cody Trella

Cody’s passion for lacrosse began at age 10 in his hometown of Chandler Arizona. He began his playing experience as a goalie, but by the time he graduated high school he had played almost every position as he played various roles through the midfield. By his junior and senior year Cody was a captain of the Lacrosse team at Chandler High School, as well as a captain of a non-profit travel lacrosse organization called Brady’s Bunch.
After high school Cody attended Lindenwood University in Belleville, IL where he was part of pioneering a brand new lacrosse program. Cody was selected as a team captain all four years he played at Lindenwood. While playing at Lindenwood Cody earned many honors including Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference offensive player of the year, and NAIA Independent Conference player of the year. He also received All-Conference and All-American honors in each season he competed at the collegiate level. Throughout his college career Cody volunteered his time to help coach both his former high school as well as his former club team.
Starting his lacrosse career as a goalie and ending as an attackman Cody has competed at every position on a lacrosse field. Cody looks to share both his passion and knowledge for the game of lacrosse to help young individuals take their game to the next level.

Cody was a Regional Director for True Lacrosse for almost two years.  True Lacrosse is the largest and one of the most competive travel lacrosse organizations in the country.  In addition, he coached Brady's Bunch Lacrosse for over 5 years.  Brady's Bunch is a non-profit organization who's mission is to raise awareness of children's cancer through lacrosse, hence "Play For Someone Else" which inspires, motivates, and supports participants to achieve success both on and off the field.
