About Capital Water Polo/Narwhal Nation:  Capital Water Polo is a year-round training program for boys and girls ages 5-18. The organization is staffed by professional coaches and has a partnership with the Arlington County Public School system to use their modern aquatic facilities. Capital strives to help each player reach his or her athletic potential, while participating in one of the most dynamic and demanding sports.  The program builds important life skills as well, including teamwork, respect, resiliency and leadership.  Most important of all, Capital ensures that every player has fun.

 

Affiliation with USA Water Polo:  Capital Water Polo is part of USA Water Polo’s Northeast Zone. The organization supports interested players in participating in national and international water polo events, including the Olympic Development Program (ODP), Junior Olympics (JOs) and the Junior National Championship (JNC). Capital has gone to JO’s the past three years, where over 945 teams from across the nation travel to participate.  

 

Fast Growing Water Polo Club: Capital Water Polo was started in 2011. The organization started with 18 players and today has over 120 participants and five division teams.
