Player Awards To Be Announced

Following the 2014-15 PBL Championship Finals, resulting in a series sweep by the Rochester RazorSharks over the Lake Michigan Admirals, there is still a few major prizes to be announced. Once all nominations have been submitted, the league's Board of Directors will hold a vote on who they believe should be the winners for each category. Team owners are not able to vote for candidates of their own team.

Each team has submitted players for the following categories:
-League MVP
-Coach of the Year
-Rookie of the Year
-Sixth Man of the Year
-Defensive Player of the Year
-All PBL First Team-All PBL Second Team

For those who do not remember, here is the list of the 2014 PBL Player Awards winners:

League MVP: Bryant Austin; Lima Express
Coach of the Year: Aaron Hogg; Indianapolis Diesels
Rookie of the Year: Jamal Francis; Lynchburg Titans
Sixth Man of the Year: John Hart: Indianapolis Diesels
Defensive Player of the Year: Courtney Blackmore; Lake Michigan Admirals

John Hart has continued his professional playing career where he currently plays for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League.

Bryant Austin, a former NBA D-League player himself, has also since continued to further his professional playing career and is now playing in China.

PBL Welcomes New Marketing Coordinator

The Premier Basketball League would like to welcome a new member of our front office, Erik Tonge, as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

Erik Tonge brings over 20 years of successful marketing campaigns and business development experience.

Erik's involvement in the PBL includes a variety of aspects in sales, marketing, and business development for the league to help bring sponsorships, build league awareness, and create a win-win relationship with partners to help the league continue to grow.
2014-15 PBL Championship Series Replay

Game two of the 2014-15 PBL Championship was aired nationally on ESPN3 and the Soul of the South network.

The game resulted in a 135-118 victory in favor of the Rochester RazorSharks over the Lake Michigan Admirals to win the championship.

In front of over 8,000 fans at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York the RazorSharks were able to present their fans with another championship while at home. To watch the game, please click the link below to be redirected to ESPN.
