Coach Rob

Coach Rob is the Head High School Varsity coach and Program Director for the club. Coach Rob is originally from the Philadelphia area, having grown up playing lacrosse most of his youth. In college he played for Mary Washington College, located in Northern Virginia, in the National College Lacrosse League (NCLL). In college, Coach was a Team Captain; Led the Team in scoring his junior year and was named to the NCLL National All-Star Team. Before moving to Washington, Coach Rob coached varsity high school lacrosse in Northern Virginia’s 4A Public HS league. He is entering his second year with Redmond, having spent three previous years with the Bellevue program. While with Bellevue, he was their Head High School Junior Varsity coach and led his teams to over 40 wins in a three year period, including a perfect 2016 season. During this time, the Bellevue Varsity program went to three State Championships and won two of them. Coach had the opportunity to be a member of that amazing coaching staff.  As a youth coach, Coach Rob also won a Washington Gold Cup while coaching Bellevue’s 5th/6th grade team in the summer time, as well as several Summer Solstice tournament championships. Coach is also a Team Washington Coach and has coached the rising 8th grade and rising 9th grade travel teams during previous summers as well. When he is not coaching, he is spending time with his wife Erin and three sons, Hunter (5), Colin (4) and John Cameron (2).
