WBSA SOFTBALL COACHES

 

 

Nicole Sidor

Nicole is a highly accomplished fastpitch softball player and instructor who returned to Wilton to provide hitting and pitching instruction for the WBSA and Wilton Little League this past season.  She was previously a head coach for the CT Rockets program at both the 16U and 14U levels.   A four-year starter at D1 Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, she was a First-Team All-Northeast Conference selection as a utility player, while setting the school record for home runs in a single season. She also pitched at Sacred Heart and is currently 4th in career strikeouts in their record book.  Prior to attending Sacred Heart, Nicole won three Canadian National Championships as a pitcher for the White Rock Renegades, the top travel program in Canada. She also earned the Most Valuable Player and Best Pitcher awards at the Canadian National Tournament.

 

Mallory Rochefort

Mallory is a junior at Fairfield University studying American Studies and Educational Studies and was the head coach of the WBSA’s 12U softball team this past season. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 2015 where, during her junior and senior years, she was captain for both of the varsity softball and basketball teams.  Mallory started for the varsity softball team all four years and earned All FCIAC honors her junior and senior years. In addition to high school softball , Mallory played travel softball every summer starting from when she was 9 years old, including playing for the 16u Norwalk Riptide that made it to the Babe Ruth World Series in 2013. 

 

Andrea Sidor

Andrea recently graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where she was a 4-year letter winner on the softball team as the starting second baseman for much of her career.  She recorded a .982 fielding percentage and led the team in home runs as a senior.  Her previous coaching experience includes being an assistant coach in the CT Rockets program at the 16U and 14U levels.  Prior to attending Sacred Heart, Andrea won two Canadian National Championships while playing for the White Rock Renegades, and was named First Team All-Canadian at 3rd Base.
