Coaching youth sports is one of the great pleasures in life.

West Seattle Junior Football and Cheer has great coaches, but we could always use more. We welcome anyone who has the desire and commitment to make a positive impact on the youth in our community.

If you’re interested in coaching, review the five requirements below and contact .

2018 Coaching Requirements

  1. Commit to the Wildcat program and philosophy.

  2. Pass the background check. The background check is conducted by NJFL. More information to come.

  3. Complete the USA Football – Tackle Coach Certification course.

  4. Register and attend NJFL Certification Training

    • *Saturday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Eastside Catholic (232 228th Ave SE, Sammamish, WA 98074)

    • *Wednesday, July 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at a TBD venue.

    • *Saturday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cedar Park Christian.

    •  *Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at North Hill Community Club (20827 3rd Ave S, Des Moines WA 98198).

  5. Register and attend the Positive Coaching Allaince training

    • *Saturday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Eastside Catholic (232 228th Ave SE, Sammamish, WA 98074). 

    • *Wednesday, July 11 from 8 p.m. until at a TBD venue.

    • *Saturday, July 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Cedar Park Christian.

    •  *Saturday, Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Hill Community Club (20827 3rd Ave S, Des Moines WA 98198).

*PCA and NFJL training are on the same date and at the same location.
