More on Home Runs for Heroes:

The Wounded Warrior Project as I am sure many of you know, is a non-profit organization that works to better the lives of wounded veterans and their families. Home Runs for Heroes is our way of supporting this wonderful cause and raising awareness for war vets around our community. At 3:00 pm on that Saturday, we will be having a mother of a wounded veteran coming to speak to the girls about his story, bravery, motivation, and how the WWP has impacted their lives to the fullest. We encourage parents and community members to join us at this time.

Caitlin and I are aware that the clinic is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend which may cause scheduling conflicts for many players and their families. We would like you all to know that donations to the WWP are not limited to only families participating in the event, so if you or your daughter is unable to attend, we encourage you to look at our donations page and consider contributing to this fundraiser. The smallest donation can make the biggest difference in someone's life, and so we ask that you spread the word about Home Runs for Heroes to raise awareness, and to hopefully bring more young athletes to the clinic.

We ask that all potential participants be signed up by Sunday, May 7 so that we can get all of the T-shirt orders in. The link for online registration is:

Caitlin and I are beyond excited to share this experience with you and your girls, and to hopefully share our knowledge of the game of softball with them. We will be covering many aspects of the game, along with some good fun competition amidst the girls. We stress that softball players of all ages are welcome to attend, and they don't have to be out of Bedford. So please help us spread the word, and introduce young athletes to this great game! Once again, your child does not have to attend for a donation to be made, so please follow the link listed above and donate to this incredible cause that we are so blessed to represent.

For more information, there are some documents copied below that you are all welcome to take a look at, or of course you can email me at my school address: . Thank you in advance for all of your support!
