SOCCER SCHEDULE COORDINATOR (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade) 

GEYA is looking for a new Soccer Scheduler starting for the Spring 2018 Season.  Training for the position can begin as soon as you are available! Marie Pantalone, the current scheduler, will be on hand to provide much assistance and training throughout 2018.  You will be eased into the position!  Duties include:

  1. Making field reservations at Downingtown Area School District
  2. Coordinating with soccer commissioners regarding number of teams per division.
  3. Creating field schedules for the  GEYA divisions
  4. Uploading field schedules to website.
  5. Addressing requests to change schedule (add or cancel events) through season.
  6. Review billing for field usage submitted by Downingtown Area School District
  7. Attendance at GEYA Soccer Board meetings – Scheduler is a Board position.

The job is most rigorous at the start of each season (Fall and Spring).  During the season, duties are about 0.5 hours a week to address requests and oversee invoices.  GEYA Soccer Board meetings are monthly, in the evening, and generally 1.5 hours.

Please know that anyone interested in this position will receive extensive training and will take on the list of duties above slowly.  This Fall is Marie’s 8th season of doing the schedules and she is looking to SLOWLY transition someone else into the job.  Please send an email to Marie at   with your interest.  Training that begins now will be that much more ahead of the game for the Spring season!

 

SOCCER SCHEDULE COORDINATOR (4th Grade through 12th Grade)

GEYA is looking for a new Soccer Scheduler starting for the Spring 2018 Season.  Training for the position can begin as soon as you are available! Marie Pantalone, the current scheduler, will be on hand to provide much assistance and training throughout 2018.  You will be eased into the position!  Duties include:

  1. Making field reservations at Upper Uwchlan Township and West Vincent Township.
  2. Coordinating with soccer commissioners regarding number of teams per division.
  3. Creating field schedules for the 5 GEYA divisions
  4. Creating a Tournament schedule for divisions grades 4 through 12.  
  5. Uploading field schedules to website.
  6. Addressing requests to change schedule (add or cancel events) through season.
  7. Coordination with GEYA Treasurer:
  • Review billing for field usage submitted by Upper Uwchlan Township and West Vincent Township and submit bills for payment by the GEYA treasurer.
  • Review billing from the referee assignor and submit to GEYA Soccer Treasurer for payment
  1. Attendance at GEYA Soccer Board meetings – Scheduler is a Board position.

The job is more rigorous at the start of each season (Fall and Spring) and a month before the tournament when the schedules are drafted, reviewed, and uploaded to the website.  During the season, duties are about 2 hours a week to address requests and oversee invoices.  GEYA Soccer Board meetings are monthly and generally 1.5 hours.
