All teams in all age groups play other GLBR teams as well as teams from other area baseball leagues. The league structure is evaluated annually. The regular spring season concludes with a GLBR End-of-Season Tournament.
Separate district teams for the 14-year old and 15-year old divisions are formed to play post-season tournaments to include District, State, and World Series tournaments.
The intent of the Fall Season is to provide players the opportunity to improve their skills through a schedule of games that focus on instruction as well as the competitive aspects of baseball. GLBR schedules games with other leagues from Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia to expose the players to a wider variety of teams. Standings and win/loss records are not kept during the Fall season.
