Upon completion of these steps, the Executive Board will review candidates submitted by the President for managerial consideration.  Managers will be notified of selections by Feb. 28.  As per LL rules, no manager has tenure and no reason for non-selection will be given.  Often, the case is that there are more candidates than spots, so Managers with experience and a record of service (volunteering, participation in events, etc.) are highly considered by the Board.  Disqualifying factors for any manager or coach position on the background checks are domestic related criminal issues and or serious felony issues, or listing on any state sex offender list, at the discretion of the League and LL baseball.  All background check information is kept confidential and is destroyed annually after review.
