This is Tim’s first year as an Assistant coach with PGLC. Tim is coaching his daughter Oliva’s 3-4 White team. When he’s not coaching, Tim is a risk manager at a local pharmaceutical company. When he’s not working or coaching, Tim enjoying playing basketball with local dads and he also plays in a slow pitch softball league. Tim has recently attained his US Lacrosse Level 1 coaching certification and he's excited about his first season with PGLC.
Cricket has a wealth of lacrosse experience from her playing days at Princeton HS and William Smith College, as well as her years of coaching for PG Lax, PLC, Princeton Day School and Garden State Elite. She loves to build character, confidence and friendships through the game and is a passionate believer in the life lessons that are learned on the field. Cricket has been coaching her 8th grade twin daughters, Lyla and Emily, since they were in kindergarten. When she’s not coaching, Cricket works with Edible Jersey, and enjoys spending time with her daughters and husband Brian cooking, biking, hiking and as spectators at Princeton University’s athletic events. Cricket is on the Board of PGLC and she has her US Level 2 certification.
Sean is a Baltimore, MD native who has been involved with lacrosse as a player and coach for most of his life. He was an All-State midfielder in high school and was recruited by multiple top-ten D1 and D3 collegiate programs. He chose to play at Howard University where he captained the team for three years and eventually coached for four years. Sean was also instrumental in forming Howard’s women's D1 lacrosse program. He has been coaching his daughter Jaelyn (7th grade) since she was very young and officially with PG Lax for the past five years. He also coaches his son Nate (3rd grade) in lacrosse, while his wife Tia truly enjoys being a team mom! When he’s not coaching, Sean works as a Sales Director for an NYC based technology company. Sean is a PG Lax board member, he also coached for a regional girl's lacrosse club and he has his US Lacrosse Level 2 Certification.
Cassidy is a junior psychology and spanish major at TCNJ from Long Valley, New jersey. Cassidy has played lacrosse along with basketball and soccer for 15 years. She has played lacrosse competitively since she was 14 and continues her passion for the sport at TCNJ. In the past she has coached a high school lacrosse team from her hometown area as well as facilitated many clinics. She is very excited to get involved in the program and looks forward to this season.
Emily Davis was a four-year varsity starter at New Egypt High School. She has continued her lacrosse career at Kean University where she is currently a sophomore playing midfield/defense. Emily is majoring in Environmental Science. For the last three years, Emily has been a coach at Ultimate Goal Lacrosse. She has extensive real game playing and coaching experience. Emily has her US Lacrosse Level One cerification.
Chaz is a member of the PGLC Board and a five-year coaching veteran. In addition to pinch-hitting at clinics, Chaz is responsible for all equipment for PGLC. Chaz (and Debby) and the proud parents of Caroline (freshman at Lawrenceville) and Harry (junior at Lawrenceville). Outside of lacrosse, Chaz keeps busy with KBB partners, a firm he founded four years ago, with offices in Princeton and New York City. Chaz recently received his US Lacrosse Level 1 coaching certification. Chaz played football, soccer and swam for Westminster High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and he played D1 water polo for Washington & Lee University. Since moving to Princeton in 2004, Chaz has coached boys and girls recreational league soccer, baseball, football and lacrosse.
Debby is President of PGLC, and a nine-year coaching veteran. Debby and her husband, Chaz, are the proud parents of Caroline and Harry, and when she's not coaching she can be found at Princeton University working on various internal consulting projects. Debby has her US Lacrosse Level 1 coaching certificate. Debby played varsity lacrosse and field hockey at Radnor High School. She also has two years experience at the collegiate level having played lacrosse for Princeton University.
This will be Brig's third year coaching for PG Lax. Brig played collegiate soccer at the University of Pennsylvania and began his career as a Marine Corps pilot. He is now a Captain flying for JetBlue Airways. He is grateful to have the opportunity to coach his daughter Sarah on the 5/6 Blue team. When not coaching, Brig spends his time with wife Lori and daughters Sarah and Shoshi (playing Varsity for PHS this spring). Brig has his US Lacrosse Level 2 coaching certificate and is in charge of Outreach for the PGLC Board.
Jonathan is excited to be involved as an assistant coach for PGLC. He recently completed his level 1 U.S. Lacrosse certification and is looking forward to coaching his daughter, Sylvie, on the 5/6 team with Brig and Carter. Jonathan coaches his son, Alex, in flag football and serves on the Princeton Junior Football League Board of Directors. Jonathan works at Princeton University as the Associate Registrar for Reporting and Institutional Research and he enjoys playing tennis.
Barbara is returning for her 4th season as a coach for PGLC. She is coaching her daughter Grace, a 8th Grader at JW. Barbara has played many sports throughout her life and continues to run, swim and cross train, and she is always happy to be on a field coaching the girls. When not coaching, Barbara spends many hours on the other side of the field, cheering for Grace and her two older brothers who both play two sports at PHS as well as club squash. Barbara and her husband Rob live on Jefferson Road in Princeton. Barbara has her US Lacrosse Level 1 Certification and is a member of the PGLC Board.
Every year, Abby gets very excited for spring arrive, not only because she doesn't like the cold but also because spring means lacrosse! 2018 marks Abby's 6th year coaching her daughter, Peyton. Abby played lacrosse at Princeton High School and continued on to play for one year for Yale University; she also played four years on Yale's Women's Squash team. When she's not coaching or cheering for her other kids from the sidelines, Abby spends most of her time at BlackRock on the other side of Route 1. She and her husband, Spencer, are also the proud parents of Spencer (Lafayette ‘19), Sydney (Princeton ‘20) and James (6th grade, JWMS). Abby is a PGLC Board member and she has her US Lacrosse Level 1 Certification.
Val Ragno is a sophomore at Rutgers University New Brunswick, majoring in Supply Chain Management and minoring in Psychology. She played lacrosse in high school and now plays club lacrosse for Rutgers. She is passionate about the game and strives to make sure that the PGLC girls having a good time while learning the game! This season she will be coaching the 3/4 White team. She coached 3/4 last year and was also a coach for the PGLC summer program. Val is thrilled to be back with PGLC for this 2018 spring season!
Carter LaPrade Serxner
Carter LaPrade Serxner is excited to help coach the 5/6 girls this season. Carter played tennis, ice hockey and lacrosse at Connecticut College and she coached middle school larosse for three years following graduation. She is a middle school history teacher at the Princeton Charter School. Carter and her husband, David, are the proud parents of Sam (Wesleyan '21), Carter (PHS '20), Jack (JWMS 7th grade) and Casey (JWMS 6th grade).
Nikki Vermut is thrilled that her two daughters, Jordyn (8th grade at JW) and Joelle (5th grade at Johnson Park), have taken up lacrosse. Nikki played varsity lacrosse at Rutgers Prep High School and club lacrosse at Emory University. This is her third years coaching for PGLAX, and this year she will be coaching the 5/6 girls. When she’s not coaching, Nikki can be found behind the wheel driving her four kids to practice. In addition to Jordyn and Joelle, Nikki and her husband, Michael, are also the parents of boys Gabriel (3rd grade at Johnson Park) and William (kindergarten), and of course, their other favorite child, dog Casey! Nikki is also an attorney, she’s on the PGLC Board, and has her US Lacrosse Level 1 certification.
Tracy is a Princeton, NJ native who played lacrosse at Princeton High School. Tracy went on to play at Roanoke College where she was named a two-time All Old Dominion Athletic Conference First Team Selection. She was also honored as a IWLCA Chesapeake Regional All-American and First Team IWLCA All-American during her career at RC. Tracy is currently the Junior Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach at Princeton Day School and she has been working with the Princeton Lacrosse Club youth program for the last five years. She is a Board member of PGLC and this season she will be running the K-3 House Program.
