AWA policy concerning practice attendance and minimum plays

The goal of our football and cheerleading programs is, first and foremost,
to develop teamwork, sportsmanship and a work ethic in all of our
participants -- life skills that are transferable beyond athletics.  To
that end, all players who attend practice, work hard and display a genuine
desire to contribute will earn the right to participate on game day beyond
the minimum play requirements set by FCFL.  As an organization, we would
rather lose a game than lose a dedicated player.

In this same connection, it is imperative that every player attend all
practices.  The AWA policy continues to be: miss one practice, the player
will not start the following game; miss two practices, the player will not
play in the following game.
